Fantastic, Feature-Rich PHEV

We love our car! We had extensively researched PHEVs and decided on it even before it was released, then rushed to a dealer to purchase. It is visually attractive, comfortable, and drives great. The only downside from our perspective is that it is so feature rich that less tech savvy drivers may find it overwhelming. We're techies, so we love the customizability.

Fuel efficient and fun to drive!

I was looking at EV vehicles but was concerned with range. Plug in Hybrid vehicles met my needs and pricing was better than pure EV. The Tucson PHEV was highly rated, priced attractively and the warranty from Hyundai was the clincher for me. Now that I’ve had the car for a month I am delighted! Highly recommend the Tucson PHEV SEL.

Love the Car - Concerned About Safety - NO SPARE TIRE!

A little frustrated that my car did not come with a spare tire. If I have a blow out - I am on the side of the road with my life in danger as opposed to a five minute tire change. All for the sake of MPGs. This is a major issue in my book and I would not have purchased the car knowing that. You should tell your customers this and give them the option to add it. Also - Airplay sucks. Phone constantly interupting the radio, using it for google maps? How is that safe? Why no navigation system? I haven't not had a navigation system in my car in 20 years? This should be standard.

Lacks many features in base model and has a huge price difference to get to the higher models. Fuel efficiency not as good as claimed. Would like to see Wireless charges being standard option for all models

The Hyundai plug-in hybrid was the only vehicle we considered because I felt it was superior to the RAV 4, and there were no other real competitors. We wanted a plug-in to take advantage of our solar generated electricity.

We're very happy with the interior and exterior appearance of the Tucson plug-in, the handling, and the excellent gas mileage. The interior is very comfortable and classy, and the exterior is distinctive. Other than the loud backup horn, the Tucson is very quiet.

Great for driving in city on electric no gas needed. It drives like a dream love the navigation feature. Easy to charge. Buying experience was wonderful with Beaverton Hyundai and Hamid was a wonderful sales guy.

Better commuting car than Tesla

Obviously performance is not the same, but when it comes to features, ride quality, comfort, and value as a daily driver and long commuter (my commute is 25 miles each way), this car exceeds what Tesla offers in many aspects. The “self-driving” features are as good (I have driven many teslas for several days), the PHEV takes away any range anxiety and makes this more practical for road trips or getaways to places that are off the supercharger grid, and the overall ride quality and noise levels beat the pants off of the model 3/y. Value-wise, I got this car for MSRP ($44k for limited PHEV in deep sea) and will be getting a $6800 federal tax rebate bringing the total down to under $38k. Compare that to a model Y which will cost nearly $20k more. Lastly, 0% financing and 3yrs of free maintenance serve to sweeten the deal. My next car will be full electric, and by then the playing field between Tesla and the legacy automakers should be much more level, ultimately benefiting the consumer.

Highly Recommend Top of the line Limited Package

The 2022 Tucson PHEV has exceeded my expectations. It's a great car to drive and very comfortable. I expect to have this car for many miles and many years. It is quiet, safe and fuel efficient. I love having and using all the safety features. Especially the blind spot cameras and the adaptive cruise control.

Great Dealer

The hunt for this 2022 Hyundai Tucson hybrid Plugin was not an easy task as in the past. We have visited so many different dealers from College Park to Fitzgerald in Rockville. I have finally received an email from Sarah Herr at Heritage that is when I have purchased pretty much in the same day after test driving.

Excellent value for the money

Was looking at the Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid but, availability was scarce and the dealers were charging over MSRP. I don't personally believe that is a good practice for dealers and will avoid those dealers who practice it. The Hyundai dealer gave me a fair trade value for my existing vehicle and they were easy to deal with. The vehicle that I purchased was in transit so I didn't get to see it in person before I put a down payment on it. However, I did get to look at a non-plug in Limited Tucson and was very happy with the look and installed features. Most of my trips are under 30 miles so I am using very little gas. I have solar panels on my house so the electric for charging is offset by my power production.

Tuscon or tucson?

The Tucson SEL has been a wonderful safety car for a beginning starter family car. It's been overall great car was a tad bit pricier than expected but also anticipated paying more than I was guesstimating. The car has been wonderful to use and definitely improved our lives from sedans to an suv! Very Happy for our first suv.
