Met all expectations, such a great experience car to own for years to come.

This car has it all: so much style, all bells and whistles that are intuitive to use, comfortable riding experience. We are so pleased with all riding modes, especially in EV mode living in the city means we can get around most days with just charge. I would prefer a larger gas tank for long distance rides- for example we drive 600 to see family and had to fill up 4-5 times each way. But aside from that it has safety features that make driving it so fun and relaxing.

I love the car the fuel efficiency is great. I enjoy the driving comfort and style. It feels so luxurious and spacious. My grandsons love riding it. They call it a space ship. I recommend this car to everyone.

Couldn't be more pleased with the Tucson plug-in hybrid

I've owned many Lexus' over the past 20 years and am a big fan. I had originally wanted to trade my RX450h hybrid for their new NX450h+ plug-in hybrid. After test driving the Tucson plug-in hybrid, I feel it is a better car at a much better price point. What is surprising is that the Tucson plug-in hybrid is even quieter than the RX450h, and nearly as roomy inside despite the exterior being 10" shorter. I was worried there may be some features I'd miss from the Lexus that I won't discover until later on. I've been driving the Tucson plug-in hybrid for over 3 months and 4000 miles now and there is nothing I'm missing from the Lexus.

It’s a decent PHEV

Overall smooth ride. A lot of touchscreen controls, so harder to use when driving. Fuel efficiency can vary, even on the same daily commute. The combustion can kick in at seemingly random times, so you may use more fuel than expected (still less than a non hybrid).

we love our new car

We love our new car. still figuring out all the bells and whistles, but very satisfied with how things work and the relatively straight forward and clear operations of the many safety and functional features that make the car fun to drive, and VERY economical for our style of driving. we are still on the second tank of gas, 1/2 full, with about a thousand miles on break-in. we are not used to how quite this car is, very minimal road noise. WOW!

Haven't owned it long enough

Haven't owned it long enough to really base my opinion on the car other than the issues I've already discused. Dents in the hood and the charging system not functionally properly. Hope you're once the deal was completed it was difficult for the dealership to call us back when we had issues

Quite Competent Great Mileage

Car is everything Consumers rating says for the hybrid review, but instead of 35 mpg I'm averaging 200 with the plug in. I bought the car in New Jersey and drove it 90 miles home to Pennsylvania and added 340 electric miles commuting to work and around town and used 2.3 gallons total. Since then, it's been all local commuter miles and I'm at 630 miles now and haven't used even a 1/2 gallon of gas.

Love our Tucson!

Excellent vehicle loaded with features which makes it great value for money. The hybrid system works amazing and provides 60+ mpg combined. About half of our driving is now electric with no charging hassle on long trips. The interior quality, noise level is excellent+ a really great sound system which was a pleasant surprise.

What’s not to love?!

I researched 3 hybrids, Toyota Rav4, Honda CRV and Hyundai Tucson. I chose the Hyundai Tucson because I liked the styling much better, the warranty and the the limited features were incomparable. I felt I got more for my money. Since new cars were hard to come by and I was waiting for it to come in, I ended up changing my mind and getting a limited Tucson Hybrid plug-in and I am so glad I did! I had to travel from NC to NJ to get it but I felt it was worth it. The styling and features are all high end and include more than many “luxury” cars. The best part, and just in time, I am averaging 1300-1400 miles per one 11 gal tank of gas! I paid more but will get a tax credit this year if $6500 for buying the plug in. I chose Deep sea with gray leather and it is beautiful and luxurious. I love getting in it everyday and it is a joy to drive! I had a 240V outlet installed in my garage and bought a $350 charger and it charges in 2 hrs. For long trips, it uses the gas hybrid engine with 35 mpg so no stress to find stations to charge. Check it out, you won’t be sorry!

Great car for around the town

33 electronic miles is all you need in my small town. But having the convenience of gas for long trips is nice. The cooled seats make ca summers bearable, while the smart driving features make road trips almost too relaxing. Over I am very happy with this suv.

This car is beautiful. It is a quiet and smooth ride. Mine is a plug in hybrid. I love everything about it. I've had it for five weeks and I still have 3/4 of a tank of gas in it. I don't drive far to work, so its almost like having a fully electric car.

Long wait (6 months) for the car, but altogether great experience to date with the vehicle. Design, performance, quality, and value seem to be excellent. Federal rebate made the PHEV a compelling choice over the standard hybrid.

Beyond my Expectations

I had initially only considered the Toyota Rav4 Prime, but after many online reviews and given availability, decided this car. to be a worthy alternative. Very pleased with my decision to purchase this instead of the Rav4 Prime, primarily for ride comfort, aesthetics and tech.

Sharp style combined with futuristic look and color combination. Full of electronics makes this car a luxury and pleasure to drive. Smood on the road at any speed, with quick acceleration to 80 mph. Very happy!

I have a previous and it gets great mpg but electric is only 31 miles

This is the first year for the plug in hybrid and overall it saves money on fuel. I can get up to 80 mpg but you need to drive like you are driving miss daisy. The level 1 charger takes forever to charge so be prepared to have a level 2 installed in your home.

Great looks great ride

Appearance attracted me, and the great smooth ride hooked me. Would like to have had more features for the money I paid, like seat memory, power lift hands free tail gate, default auto high beams, auto adjust rear view mirror, front and rear warning sounds. Was happy with "Plug-in Hybrid" though. Original $37,505 MSRP was great, but the $4,500 "over market" increase was abhorrent. If I was refunded that money, I would do an advertisement for Hyundai.

Good car. This was bought for my wife and in the time we have had it, it has been great. Only complaints are around interior fit and finish and AC smell. Other than that, seems to be a great car so far.
