Nice car that is fun to drive but feels very safe and comfortable

I like the smaller size of this car making it feel welcome on narrow streets, parking garages and other areas that have limited space. It drivers very nicely! Handles well everywhere, has good "pick up" when needed and feels lively. It is also quite comfortable to ride in.

Zippy Car

I was not a fan of the Kona's look until I saw a white Kona with the night trim at the dealership while waiting for repairs on my Veloster. It was super cute and the sales department convinced me to test drive it. I traded in the Veloster with no regrets! I have the turbo charged engine and love how it handles.

Fun to Drive and great features

I’ve enjoyed my Kona very much. It’s fun to drive, very maneuverable, comfortable and has a nice sound system. However it would benefit from increased HP/turbo during acceleration and I think the steering could be a little tighter.

Great torque

The vehicle has amazing torque at high gears, and a whole lot of pep for such a small engine. The dual clutch transmission is very nice, and gear ratios are on point. However, as early power train issues are cropping up at only a year/20k miles in. Plus a mix of trivial complaints about cracking leather on the steering wheel, a buzzy bass in the ‘premium sound system’ when combined with serious electronics issues such as the collision detection going off and slamming on the breaks at 75mph due what I think is just glare off the road; I have been pretty disappointed and dissatisfied with purchasing both the specific vehicle, trim, and Hyundai in general.

I live my Kona

My first new car and it’s been a great purchase. Great value for the money and I love the way the car looks and feels. It’s AWD which is important in New England. I have been happy with the Kona, and plan on having this car for Years to come.

Great little car!

Speedy turbo version selected. Very nice features. Safe, well-equipped Good MPG. Good, sleek appearance. High enough off the ground for easy entry and exit. Great value for the dollar. Excellent sound system with a good deal of features. Nice , easily readable displays.

Cue car, good price, good safety and reliability ratings.

First car for my daughter, wanted something safe, reliable and stylish. It fits those requirements plus is not just another Toyota or Nissan so it’s a little easier to find in parking lots. A good experience so far.

Fun to Drive

Fun to drive, good styling and good gas mileage. Car exceeded my expectation so far. Styling is Unick and separates itself from others in its class. Not sure the major contributor to road noise. Tires car design?

It’s small, definable needs a bigger trunk

Within the first year of having my car I already had a major repair and I’m nervous something else will go wrong. I do not trust that the dealership will provide me with good care during the next issue

Great value

I wanted a small crossover that had a lot of features and a great warranty, the Kona fit the bill perfectly, the turbo gives the car great performance and mileage. Was not happy with the dealer I bought from but am very happy with Hyundai of Venice the dealership I switched to

Interior could use more designing

Please put a locking compartment in the new kona. Memory seats would be great especially since I'm 5'2' and my husband is 6'2". Wish there was a light in the visor by the mirror. 2 separate compartments in the center console would be nice.

I truly love my Kona

I first saw the Kona in a parking lot and loved it. When the time came to buy a new car, I knew I wanted to look into the Kona. All of the reviews were excellent and I was in the very fortunate position to be able to find and afford the exact model and trim level I wanted. May seem foolish, but I never even test drove it because it was in another state. I have not regretted my choice for an instant. Sporty, maneuverable, relatively fuel efficient, fun to drive, great sound system. I am extremely pleased with the Kona. My only complaint is a wonky navigation system, but I usually just use Google Maps through the Bluetooth, so not a big problem.

Awesome car!

Small car. Bigger on the inside. AWD is incredible in the snow. Handles amazingly. Fun to drive. Great grocery getter/commuter vehicle. Great in tight parking garages. Audio interface is clumsy and needs some work, though.

I love my KONA!

Steering response is quick, interior is comfortable, and the motor has plenty of power when needed. It performed perfectly on a month long cross country trip in all terrains. It gets great gas mileage and accelerates quickly with no lag in power.

Overall it's a good car and reliable

I'm new to the technology inside the car but overall I believe that it was a good selection for me up to this point I haven't had any major problems and hopefully it will remain that way. I use it for work and I've been satisfied this far.

Great value!! Fun to drive!! Happy with the gas consumption!! Sport mode is fun!! Could be a bit roomier in the back for groceries and what not. Cool looking! Popular vehicle! I think I'll be keeping it for many years to come.!

Great car

Great car for the money. Really love the warranty. Very stylish car and really fun to drive. I upgraded everything on this model and it really stands out. Has more features than our BMW 3 has. Very happy.

I am very satisfied with my Kona with the exception of the rear driver's side seatbelt. It handles well and I just love it. I would highly recommend it. There's not much more I can say. Good on gas also.
