Economical with a feel of sporty

I bought just as transportation to work but wound up enjoying it. The rating on build quality doesn’t reflect overall vehicle, but the rear windows noise is very disappointing. It’s the first thing discussed when someone asks about the car.

Good handling

Handles well. Ride can be a bit rough on a bumpy road. Controls are intuitive. Cargo area is generous for its class. Could use a bit more acceleration (turbo version provides that). Lumbar support is adjustable and adequate, but not stellar.

Transmission issues. Dangerous driving.

Car is a great car comfortwise. Haning and steering wonderful. The car hesitates and jerks and from stopped position and at slow roll. Does not respond when gas pedal is pressed half the time. Dangerous!! Very scary to drive when car hesitates and doesn’t respond. Third hyundai and last. Dealer says it’s an issue with this model kona due to dual clutch transmission and turbo. Will not fix it.

Cute little Kona

I like the Kona because of its cute size. Only gave a 4 star because it has less trunk/hatch space than I would like. Way less than the Elantra trunk. It’s comfortable and fun to drive. Pull down drink holder in the back seat is a plus.

For the money it is a great little car I just want a car that is reliable and will take me where I want to go when I want to go. Don’t care about luxury. With all the safety features and warning systems I feel very safe in it.

Great car for a new driver

Perfect car for a new driver that has to do highway driving. The safety features are a nice peace of mind for parents of new drivers. The styling also is modern and pleasing to the eye. I would consider this model again

Very smooth

Vehicle is very smooth and quiet on the road even when left idling hard to tell engine is running and the handling is very good love driving it feel very much in control of vehicle. Also the audio quality is excellent

The dealership is very professional. The business and salesman were the best you could expect.

The Kona is an excellent vehicle and gets wonderful gas mileage. Service dept was very good, too. Free oil changes and tire rotation for the first 36,000 miles. Overall, I would say, the dealership was as good as one could find.

Reliable and sporty

I like this car more than the Jeep I owned before it and the Mercedes. It’s sporty and reliable, but feels safe. I would definitely recommend this car to friends and family. It’s a great value for the money.

Best compact suv

Best small compact suv. From appearance, fuel economy, handling and ease of use along with the great Bluelink feature, this car is worth the price. I would definitely buy this vehicle again but I figure my present Kona will last for a long time

Too many issues not worth paid price

Paint issues, engine jumped time and continual excessive oil consumption - company doesn't want to stand behind brand and fix the known issue. Too many return visits to the Dealership costing loss of time and gas $. I will NEVER buy another Hyundai vehicle.

OK but rides a little rough

SO the Prius had lengthened 8 inches which ruled it out for a re-purchase. Found this Kona only 164 inches which is great. Liked the style and performance. Mileage hovers in the high 20s to 30 mpg suburban driving. Rides a little rough but overall has been a good car. The 3 yr maintenance given only provides semi synthetic oil. In Florida we need full synthetic due to the heat, do I use an outside source for this.

Love it, love it and it looks good.

Buy one and experience it for yourself. The look and style has its own identity and looks amazing so much so you won't dare drive around with it dirty. Coupled with a smooth ride and sun roof, I call this Kona my Lexus.

I really like the Kona.

The Kona is a great vehicle , and the turbo is a great engine and fun to drive. I plan to stay with a Kona from now on. I really don’t like being mad to write a certain number of words, and I’m tempted to just delete the entire survey.

CREDIT REPAIR

My husband and I are self-employed architects; we made most of our income from buying, renovating and selling houses in Florida. In 2005 we had our first child, followed immediately by Hurricane Wilma and the beginning of the downturn in the real estate market (at least in Miami). Lost income from clients who could no longer pay, plummeting real-estate values and a non-existent job market for architects left us with virtually no income for four years. We used our credit cards and savings, my 401k, sold our home at a huge loss, all with the idea that the market had to pick up soon and we would then be able to pay off our debts without filing for bankruptcy. We were terrified of bankruptcy because we depended on being able to get a mortgage to finance home purchases and renovations, our main source of income. In retrospect not filing was a mistake, the market never recovered in time for us and we accumulated a massive amount of credit card debt which we could not pay, somewhere around $50-60,000. Much of this has been charged off or we negotiated settlements; however, we have two judgements, Amex for $1136 and Chase for $8566, which I’m going to try and settle, and a Citibank account that was bought by Asset Acceptance, original balance of $16,166 now pumped up to $26,340. I read about PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST on Quora and I didn’t hesitate to contact him, to my greatest surprise, all the debts were cleared completely including the charge offs and credit card debts. More so our credit score was increased to 811 and 804 respectively. All thanks to PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST the saviour I met a few months ago.
