quiet, smooth, spacious

I have always liked the styling and interior. It is quiet (now that the rear door rattle is fixed). It has great power on the road, tracks straight, very controllable,very comfortable ride, and the auto assist highway driving makes me feel safer and more comfortable.

Despite issues, love the car!

1. The control box needed to be replaced because it would not charge. But there was zero explanation or feedback from the dealer. 2. There has been confusion about when to get service, what things are included, and who maintains a record of service. 3. Blue Link is interesting, but certainly not worth the price of subscription. 4. The navigation system is crude and virtually unusable, particularly when compared to Google Maps.

Charging system failed after 2.5 years

We love the Ioniq 5. Very comfortable and great ride. However, we had recently issues with the 12 V battery not charging in certain situations and the level 2 charging capability not functioning. We csn only use level 3 chargers right now. Dealership is still analyzing the root cause for 3 weeks without resolution. Not sure if it is the ICC unit. Diagnostic tools need to be improved.

Cool looking but....

Overall IQ5 has served us well however it does come with few issues (charging and had to visit dealership 4-5 times). Android (wired) and navigating to certain functions....otherwise its 7.5 out of 10.

We really love how the Ioniq 5 is spacious all around.

Not only does this car make people say "oh space car", it makes them ooh and aah when they get inside. With a back row that adjusts horizontally and vertically, space is never an issue in the back seat. Plus the back row folds down giving enough space for trips to the hardware store or packing up for a camping weekend. You can't beat the quiet of an electric car and this is no different. The display dashboard display is sleek and easy to use (with Android and iPhone) plus the safety features like lane assist, collision warning, and blind spot detector are a luxury I didn't know I needed.

Comfortable Ride full charge doesn’t get you very far

Navigation is horrible no back window wiper why even put in the glass might as well leave it solid . I paid top dollar for a limited with all extra warranties. I definitely overpaid very disappointed.

Excellent vehicle with slight concern for ICCU

Very easy to drive, charge and day to day living. The only concern is about ICCU failures which keep happening to existing owners and Hyundai has not done a complete fix along with single day turnaround for such issues. Car has features which even Tesla does not offer like HUD, physical buttons along with start button, plenty of room and panoramic window shade etc. I wish it had more range to around 500 miles.

I can’t BlueLink connected in my name. Nobody responds. Kind of a pretty big deal for a car with the features this has.

Great performance, luxury, and utility.

Performance. love the effortless acceleration. Off the line. Passing at 70mph. Luxury. Serene quiet. Instant heat. Park with AC but no idling engine. Basic sound system is very good. Utility. Seats 5 adults. Great back seat legroom. Hauls 8 ft 2x4 or 10 ft pipes, with ease.

Good daily drive, but continued issues with 12V battery

It's a very good car, but will sometimes have troubles with the 12V battery deciding to deplete itself randomly. And multiple dealership diagnostic trips were unable to identify the issue. Otherwise, very solid car.

Fantastic partner for a first fossil fuel-free foray

When your major quibbles with a car begin with lousy wipers and lack of a rear wiper, you know that list will be short and, well, quibbling. The Ioniq 5 has been an exceptional dance partner for my first waltz without gas...so good that I may not be able to go back, and lament the lack of energy the US has demonstrated regarding the conveance of the future. In all honesty, the only issues that come to mind are the aforementioned wiper woes, occasional chassis chatter over uneven pavment, and no wirelss CarPlay. Like i said...quibbles at best.

Still love my car!

My car, who I named Chi, is two years old and I still love it as much as the day I bought it. Four stars are for the service at the dealership I use (not great), and I would have liked more range, more adapters for different chargers, wireless car airplay and a back windshield wiper (?!) One last note - I hate the soft material they used for the dash and interior trim - it dings easily, it's hard to clean and it attracts dirt and dust.

I love most things about this vehicle.

I love the feel of the car, the look of it, the acceleration, the accessories etc. I just dont love that the foam will come out of the tires and shake the steering wheel violently. I also don't enjoy the many recalls but I understand EVs are still newish and not perfect.

Functions and handles well

Car has been fun to drive and has great features. I like the auto drive function, although there could be some improvements on lane departures (sometimes it just drops that feature during the drive for unknown reasons). Charging is also easy and fast. The nav system, while good, seems to be having some issues lately with finding addresses or navigating to an address slightly off from where it actually is (ie, wrong part of a shopping center or a few meters away from the actual address). The quality is good, with the exception of a trim piece on the liftgate that always seems to be pulling away from the body despite already being changed out by the dealership. Overall, satisfied with the features and drive.

Most fun car I have ever owned

The most fun car I have ever owned. The quality of the interior materials is extremely high and just an overall beautifully crafted automobile. The charging speed is twice as fast as a Tesla and I'm always leaving them still at their Chargers while I'm getting back on the road. The distance I can go on a charge is just crazy
