Great car

Overall, a great car to drive. Hyundai, please fix: I had to have the ICCU replaced. When I turn (at an intersection), often the power is momentarily reduced, then it comes back. The doors should lock after I get out. Esp. the handles stay out telling everyone the doors are open (i.e., if I forget to manually lock the car). When the stereo plays off my usb stick, the songs are listed alphabetically; that is not the order (the track order) that the artist composed for the album. There should be an integrated dash cam.

I LOVE This Car

It has everything I'd want in a car. I traded up so I could have the back windshield wiper which was the one thing I was not satisfied with. Now that I have that, and the Tesla charger port, I am so very satisified.

Almost perfect

This car is amazing. It can drive just like a gas powered car, or more like a Tesla and you can set which mode! I’d like for my favorite mode, I-pedal, to come up everytime I drive. I have to set it each time. Also, the door handles stick out when not locked adversing to everyone that they can get in. I’d also like to have the sound system NOT automatically reduce the volume just because I’m reversing. I actually find it MORE distracting. I’m not going to get a Hyundai credit card. I’ve had to close out that “offer” 1000 times. I wish you would stop asking. Last but not least, we should not have to pay for Bluetooth. My 11 year old Toyota offered it free. Most cars have it w/o charging.

HI 5 (Hyundai Ioniq 5)

Love the car, steep learning curve. I'm 73 and have owned a lot of cars. Mostly I work on my own cars to do the easy stuff, not anymore. I'm pretty much done. I bought the Ioniq 5 because of the warranty and the very low maintenance expected. All service calls for 100,000 miles are covered by Hyundai and my dealership give me a loner. I'm still figuring out all the variations of driving the Ioniq 5.

A Wonderful Vehicle with Reservations

I first purchased the 2023 Ioniq 5 and lost it due to a rear-end collision. This forced me to purchase a new car, and the best I could find (to meet my desires) was the 2025 Ioniq 5 Limited edition. It has met all my expectations except for one feature that is irritating. I always smile when someone asks how I like my vehicle.

Engineering flaws

Basically a good vehicle but I've called Hyundai with several suggestions on how to improve certain items. I don't know where these engineers get their ideas from.

Love the car.

I have a 25 limited edition. Have driven it for one year and 6000 miles. Exclusively charged in my Garage level two charger. Had only one issue with the car, which was a dead cell in the 12 V battery. Had to have it towed to the dealership, but battery was replaced no charge and no trouble since.

A very capable EV with reservations

Agree with highly rated features of the Ioniq 5. Ride ia comfortable. Safety features abound. Transition from 2006 gas to 2025 EV can be more challenging as the electronics have greatly advanced. Homework is needed to understand the ICCU and problems with ICCU failure. Inquire with dealer to determine comfortability with the status of corrective action. Review is based on first year of use.
