Overall I really do like the Tucson, we bought a Limited for the features but I am disappointed that it does not have folding mirrors and the carpet, interior touch surfaces and sound system are not better quality. I would have bought a higher trim package if it had been available. I much prefer the interior and exterior styling compared to the Genesis GV line.

Great car - but not for short commutes in cold weather!

I've had the vehicle for 1 year now - absolutely no mechanical problems (though I've put less than 4,000 miles on it!). However, there are big problems: 1) the heater doesn't blow anything other than cold air for about 20 minutes (my commute is only 15) so during the winter in New England my commute is pretty uncomfortable - the only thing that saves it is that the seat warmer works very well 2) the lock/unlock system at the handle is difficult at best and the unlock feature doesn't work below freezing (though the lock feature does) and 3) in an age when we are more tech oriented than ever the car has paddle shifters but NOT a rear view mirror that auto-dims or opens the garage door! and 4) the Navigation system has maps/info that are at least 2 years old AND doesn't take the logical route (has put me on dirt roads). I'm also disappointed that the battery range is only about 30 miles. This was my first electric car and I didn't understand that would be the case.

Pretty seamless

This is my first hybrid vehicle, and it's been very easy to adjust to using. I love the Hyundai dash designs and the touch screen console. I found the shifter to be kind of odd initially but am more of less used to it now. I don't love how laggy it is in accelerating but I'm mostly city driving lately anyway.

Car ok, dearlership still not completd their duties

I bought my vehicle over 75 days ago and the dealership has still yet to delivery all the items that were on the window sticker. They also overcharged me, acknowledged this but have yet to repay the amount the have overcharged. I feel I have been more than patient but this is ridiculous. They thought I would just let this slide? I will not. The dealership dose not care about their customers and Hyundai corporate support while supportive has yet to have them even return my phone calls.

Impractical

I had to trade it back in after several weeks because I discovered phev is very impractical for a 1-car household. It could only be cost-saving if it is used exclusively for short, local trips like running to the supermarket. Any roadtrip that exceeds the very limited EV mileage (33 miles total) will result in very high fuel usage and consequent terrible overall mileage. The only answer is to pull off the highway and sit for several hours while you plug into a charging station, IF you can find one. A trip of several hundred miles would necessitate numerous 2-3 hours stops along the way.

I have had 11 Hyundai's and this is the worst one I have ever had.

I love Hyundai I have had 11 of them and this is my worst one I have ever had. I have had it for three months and it has been in the shop for two months almost being fixed and it is not fixed yet.

Too hard to comprehend all of the features. Some are hard to use. The car is a constant beeping of warnings - very annoying. Navigation is inaccurate and not useful.

Eco friendly option with character

The vehicle is outstanding once you understand how to operate it. However the dealer was not able to teach us how to operate many of its functions and it took some time to figure it out using online teaching tools. Even now after 3 months some functions like the phone charging pad don’t work.
