Superb car filled with great features.

Quiet, Smooth Riding, and Spacious. I love the feel and function of this car. It's at a great price and has everything you could want. Much better than my Tesla Model Y and my Audi Q6.

A great entry into the world of electric vehicles.

I was hesitant to purchase an electric car mainly because I don’t know much about them. I have now owned a Ioniq 5 for almost three months and I am very happy with it. Simple to charge at home, amazing comfort and safety features and it is very appealing to the eye. It has a nice mix of buttons and screen. Highly recommended.

We leased an Ioniq 5 for 2 years prior to purchase of a 2026 model. We enjoy driving the car. It’s comfortable, fun to drive, has good acceleration and accessories.

Overall a solid vehicle, though there were characteristics I found lacking: - No heated steering wheel - No overhead camera view - No cooled seats - Stereo does not "save state" when car is turned off, e.g., if Sirius is selected with Favorites activated, turning car off/on will return stereo to default. It would be MUCH better if the stereo's previous state was saved, or at least provided an option to activate/deactivate

Almost perfect, minor annoyances ruin the day

This car is so, so nice to drive. I love most things about it. I mostly recommend it. However, Hyundai makes some absolutely baffling choices that all seem minor, but are even more infuriating because they are so easy to fix. 1. Crappy "paper" covering on the side door panels. This is a luxury (select trim) car, why is it covered in paper? Use durable materials 2. Why the heck can you not keep your drive mode? You gave me the ability to create a custom drive mode, why do I have to switch to it every time, even though every other drive mode will stay when you set it!? 3. Why can you not keep the regenerative braking level at either Auto or i-Pedal??? Again, every other setting, just fine. One of those two? You have to set it every time. Just let me keep it in Auto, and stop making me change it every time I'm in the car. 4. Why, when two phones are paired to the car, do you not just auto connect to the carplay of the profile selected? 5. Why does it take like 20 full seconds to confirm a profile in the car? Just optimistically render and then set the other settings behind the scenes. This isn't a super computer here, my macbook can boot up in like 5 seconds. 6. THE BIGGEST ONE. What the heck is up with the door locking? Like seriously? My 10 year old car had auto-lock on walk away. This car doesn't. Okay fine, maybe I can get used to it. Wait, you can't lock the door from the inside as you're getting out. Why!? Then, you have to use their crappy capacitive touch button that straight up does not work 60% of the time. Not to mention, the car randomly locks out my wife, who isn't the primary digital key holder, and she has to log out of and back into blue link. What are you doing here? Each one of these is a horrible experience that would be so easy to fix. First add auto lock when you walk away, second allow your users to lock their doors from the inside if they so chose, third add an actual button on the outside to lock/unlock the door, fourth fix your buggy software that is actually pretty dangerous because it could strand someone.

The Ioniq 5 SE is quiet and smooth riding. But has inadequate EPA range and lack of safety features

Fun and Comfortable Driving

2026 Ioniq 5 Limited AWD has performance when you need it, and the long wheelbase provides a smooth comfortable and quiet ride. The spacious Cabin has very nice seats, several storage spaces, and an adjustable center-console. The most-used settings for accessories are available on physical buttons and switches, as well as the menu system. With just over 6000 miles, I'm smiling when I drive. Love the steering-wheel mounted regeneration select paddles and use them much more than the physical brakes. Ability to have economical charging at home is great as well.

Hyybdai got it right with the Ioniq5

We bought the car for my wife to drive. She wanted an electric car because she did not want to go to the gas stations, but she did not want a Tesla because there are no buttons or knobs. I was surpirsed that it has the same range as a Tesla Model Y plus the 2026 Ioniq5 has the same charging port as a Tesla and you can go to Tesla Super Chargers.

Great car but no charger

Love my car but the charger was not working so we had to order a new one. Six weeks later still no charger so we have to go to charging stations to charge our brand new 2026 $ 40,000 car
