My Sonata over all is terrific. The radio reception is the worse I've ever encountered. My suggestion is to replace the entire audio system. I do wish I had the navigation system on my car. But it didn't come with it.

Great car.

Never had any real problems with the car. It got great gas mileage never needed repairs. It was only after I totaled it that I'm now faced with the daunting task of trying to find another decent car.

I’m on my 3rd Sonata! Love them!

Love my car, on my Third one. Love the warranty it carries. Great gas mileage, lots of trunk room. Love my heated seats and hands free phone option. Smooth riding, comfy. I’ve driven to Texas back and forth several times.

Very disappointed with this vehicle-2016 Sonata

Very disappointed with this vehicle. Engine reliability is very questionable due to the high oil consumption (1-2 quarts per 1000-1500 miles). Engine makes rattling noise (intermittent) during acceleration. Steering is not true and consistent while driving. Feels cheap and poorly built. Road noise is excessive on almost any road surface even after replacing all 4 tires, and having undercoating applied to undercarriage for sound deadening. Would not purchase a Hyundai product again, or recommend to a friend.

Purchased my 2017 Sonata to replace a 2016 Sonata that was totaled in a deer, car collision. Really loved the 2016 and didn't consider any other vehicle to replace it. Quality and value for the money, brought me back for anoyher Sonata. Great car that does everything I expect.

never have a problem with the car. had all make of cars in my life . I am 75 now and it has been the best car by none. I look and drive other to see how they fell driving and I always come back to the Hyundai.

My 2017 Sonata

Looks, Driving comfort,MPG, all play into why we purchased the 2017 Sonata. It was a great bargain and the Hyundais just keep improving every year. I first discovered the Hyundai Sonata while on vacation and got one as a rental car. That week sold me on the car and convinced me that this was the car we needed to buy the next ime we were in the market for a used car.Our local dealership is easy o work with and has an excellent repair shop. The entire team is wonderful to work with. This 2017 is our third Sonata and I'm sure it won't be our last.

Luxury at it's peak

My Sonata is great. I love the way it drives and the roominess. My Sonata keeps me updated on my maintenance scheduled which I certainly appreciate. I feel safe and would definately recommend it..

I was thinking of changing cars but I'll keep the Sonata being that it's so comfortable and alot of room inside. It has a great ride specially on the highways and talking about a gas saver that's the car.

Never thought I would own a Sonata

I love my car. I runs and drives great. It has all the features I will ever need. A lot of value for the money. Plenty of get up and go. It is so sporty for a sedan! It has so many cool features for it's cost. Well made.

Very roomy interior, appealing exterior and very reliable vehicle. The vehicle comes equipped with Apple CarPlay for iOS devices. Highly recommend the Sport Package with the Sun Roof. The vehicle comes with very generous trunk space.

Sonata 2017

One of the worse car I ever have! I would never again will buy a sonata! My car is only 2 years old and I have more issue I don’t like to drive my car anymore! I would never I would recommend this car for anyone

Honda Owner Converts to Hyundai

I have owned several Honda Accords and really like them. But when I needed to replace my last one I didn't want to pay the "brand name tax" and thought that the Sonata might be a good substitute. For the most part that has been the case. The Sonata has a bit more cabin noise and the door sounds tinnier when closing than my old Accords - but for the price, it is a good, reliable vehicle. It is responsive and a pleasure to drive. I wish they had the zero gravity front seats of a Nissan Altima -

Love my hybrid sonata

Drives great. Great gas mileage. Sound system is wonderful Love the rear monitor. Love the warning signals for changing lanes. Love the way the bright lights work automatically. Love the way the cruz control works., you just set it and drive. Over all I am impressed with my car. The only thing is it really is hard to get a nice shine on my car even when it is waxed it looks dull. Thank you for building A good car. I feel safe driving it.

Love my Sonata

I love my Sonata but it started making a noise and I’ve take to the dealer many times they keep Telling me it has to break down before they can fix it. Well it broke down because of this last recall and I was stuck. I just want to noise gone and it still there other wise I love my car.

Good car

Overall it has been a decent car, not as good as I had expected. In less than 30,000 miles there have been several recalls (airbag, engine software), several parts have had to be replaced (truck latch), and some repairs performed (leaking oil, not related to oil change). The warranty is very good, so I have not had to pay for these repairs, but still, it takes time away from work and other activities. For me it took a while to get used to the geometry of the car, there is something that when you turn the turn ratio feels wrong. I have driven an Acura TSX, Nissan Maxima, Honda Accord, and only on this Hyundai Sonata I can't get a feeling for where the car will turn.

Oil consumption

The car uses just over 1 quart of oil to 5,000 miles of driveing. That is far from my expectations of a new car. My 2005 Nissan Frontier has 100,000 miles and uses no oil at all. None of the Nissan vehicles I purchased in the past has ever used any oil.
