Happy Hyundai customers

We are very happy so far with our Sonata. It has all the features we love including Apple Car Play and lane assist with the auto drive mode for the cruise control is awesome. Rear view camera is great. The large digital dashboard is awesome. Lots of legroom in the back and plenty of trunk space too.

Very fun and sporty look. Air vent system directionality frustrating.

This 2024 Sonata moves well, has a lot of features, and gets a lot of compliments on it's look. I've had it 20 months so far. I still have a lot to learn about all the gadgets and settings because my previous vehicle was a 2008 Sonata. Now there's a push button and lots of technology a lot of which, unfortunately, is not so intuitive to use. It really requires reading a lot of the owner's manual. The big issue I have is that the air vents are set up so that open/closed is a side to side function and directionality is up/down. I do not like air blowing directly on me and so far I haven't found a way to use it without that happening or without completely closing the vents on my side of the car. Luckily, it's rare that I have a passenger so I can leave the vents on that side open. Also, when closing the vents or closing them most of the way, it creates an air whistling noise that is quite annoying - so either open an blowing on me or closed all the way and no air on my side. I also miss the sun visor pull-out side extension that my 2005 and 2008 had.

Love My Hyundais but not do much this one

I love my car! Can’t believe some of the features I have enjoyed on my other Sonatas (4) aren’t available on this one because it’s AWD. Very disappointing. Think I’ll forego the AWD in exchange for the features I miss on my next Sonata.

Wimpy engine and Chips easily

I love the look of the 2024 Sonata however the engine is sluggish from the start. The hood has chipped easily and I'm not one follow a car closely. I have never had a car that chipped as easily as this vehicle. I purchased the vehicle because it is AWD however I failed to realize until after the purchase that it is not true AWD like the Subaru Legacy. Because of the AWD preference, I wish I would've purchased the Subaru Legacy. The Legacy will not longer be made so I lost out on that option.

Fast and comfortable car

Modern design and technologies. Sad that trim n-line for US markets is without ultrasonic sensors, projection HUD and 360 cameras compare to Korean market. I also want AWD version n-line in the future.

PROS AND CONS OF THE 2024 SONATA

PROS--Car drives well. Seats are comfortable. Heat and AC work well and are efficient. The trunk opens easily and opens all the way up giving good access to the trunk interior. Has a good size glove box. CONS--Gear shift is uncomfortable, not placed well on column and not easy to use. There is something in the center above the rearview mirror that bothers me just because it is there as a block. The car is about a year old and even though it is out in all elements, and has not been driven much, it has tiny paint chips and scratches on the hood that are all the way through the outer coating of the paint. I have a 2011 Sonata with many more miles and also is out in all weather conditions and the paint job is fine. So not happy with the paint job on this new car. I was also promised interior of cloud gray and it is pretty much like milk white which doesn't make me happy. Storage on door panels is not as deep as in the older cars and won't hold things easily.

Love the car, with a exception

I been getting an error message," battery draining do to external devices. I'm not happy with the reason is i don't drive the car enough. It started after i had the car for over a year. this is a lease. I will not buy this car because of the error message.

Love my Sonata N Line

Best bang for your buck! I get compliments on the car all the time. Love the performance out of the n- line. I travel a lot for work and rent cars wherever I go. None of them are as comfortable nor have the performance my Sonata has.

Solid vehicle

Has all the bells and whistles i need. Safety features, heated seat, GPS, satellite radio. I keep it in sport mode for the firm handling and extra power for the highway. An all around smooth ride full of advanced technology.
