2024 Sonata Hybrid SEL
It's a good car, very comfortable. The 2.0 L engine is a little small for this heavy car, and you can hear the gas engine working a little too hard under normal conditions. 2.5 L would be better, but you need to get the N Line for that.
Barely 8000 miles, and the entertainment system is on the fritz – sometimes it goes off completely, but eventually comes back. Took it to a local dealer for the dealer required entertainment system update to satisfy a recall, but they were not able to do it. They said they lost the 'network connection', which I think means that the guy who knows how to do it was not there.
Also lost a couple of the lower bumper clips at some point, probably rubbing on a parking bumper. I treat this car very gently, so there was not much friction required for the clips to break. The dust cover underneath became a mess, and it was several hundred dollars to get it fixed.
The cross traffic alerts for backing out of parking spaces works great, and is a fantastic feature. The digital key on your phone is also a big convenience.
