Love this car so much I bought three!

Hyundai just keeps getting better and better. They were a punchline in the 90’s, but now, at a point in my life when I can buy any car I want, I choose them. This is the third sonata hybrid I’ve purchased and they just keep getting better. Averaging 53 mpg, sound system is satisfying, even though it’s Bose, and interior and exterior are fire.

2021 Hyundai Sonota Limited Hybrid

Firt Hyundai that I have every owned have driven Ford's exclusively since 1972. So far I love my new Hyundai will have to see how it holds up and compares to my past Ford vehicles that I have owned. I love hybrid cars this is my third hybrid vehicle in a row that I have purchased.

Things that need to be updated or changed

The car over all isn't too bad. Simple things here and there need to be changed. The App to start and unlock the car is CRAP! The dealership can't even work it! Plus they want you to pay for it after a short time! there are lights on the door, but do not light up when getting in and out of the car. Would help out a bunch at night. Has this stupid wasted button and all for it to play sleep sounds or whatever. No one cares for it! the Auto cruise control has strengths and weaknesses. Strength is that it can go down to zero, sit and then move when traffic does. Weakness is a few. I will set the cruise at say 70mph while going 70mph. It always will drop down to something like 64mph and then slowly get back up to 68 to 70mph with no traffic in front of the car. it idols high when trying to catch back up burning more gas by doing so. It took a little getting used to the cruise also. I had a Mazda before this and it was much smother than the 2021 vehicle I have now. the heads up display has auto changed back to factory default 3 times now and I can't figure out why. So I have to go back into all the settings and fix it. the buttons for the air and seat warm/cool needs to be changed and easier to deal with. Auto starting the car should pick up where the car was turned off at along with the heated or cooled seats!!! instead it sets the air to like 72 degrees and on the lowest setting! How in the hell is this supposed to warm or cool the car?! It defeats the purpose of an auto start to prep the car for the weather outside! It burns through gas more so than expected. Even with the eco setting on and not having a lead foot. wish the back seats were heated, especially being that I bought the top of the line one and it isn't there. The trunk has no real place to gab it and close it. I usually use one of the letters mounted on the back of the trunk to get a grip.

Good for the price

A efficient, pleasant to drive sedan. Exceptional exterior styling, but I personally don’t care for the two tone interior. Quick 0-30 in sports mode and pretty efficient in eco but the transmission isn’t always the smoothest in either mode. The safety feature range from surprisingly useful (top down view) to obnoxious (automatic parking break, proximity alert in a drive-thru.) My biggest praise for it is I’m surprised I go all this for ~$35k. My biggest complaint is it has developed two rattles in the cabin after only two days of owning it that are being troublesome to isolate and fix.

Stylish, good milage and well built

2021 hybrid Sonata is a game changer for me with right style, comfort features and look I was looking for. Average milage per gallon I have noticed is also impressive. Solar panel on roof gives additional power when ever it is sunny.

Breast in its class!

Safety, fuel mileage, look, feel all outstanding. Dealership worked well with us. Price was very reasonable. All features and reliability. Smooth performance. Seat is slightly uncomfortable but the seat can’t fit all people.

Gets most things very right, but manages to get a few things stupidly wrong

This is the 1st Hyundai in our family. Styling looks great outside & inside. 46+ MPG is excellent, except during very cold weather due to the need for cabin & seat heating. However, this car does let me down in driver's seat comfort, inadequate center console storage, and Lane Centering Assist.

Love My 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited

The new 2021 Sonata Hybrid Limited replaced my 2017 Sonata Hybrid Blue. The upgrades are phenomenal. The interior is very sleek and classy yet modern with all the technology that is easy to understand and use. The video display for changing lanes, reversing and parking is amazing. The heated steering wheel, heating and cooling front seats are heaven. The Bose 12 speaker sound system is very impressive! The ride is extremely smooth and very responsive. I am averaging 49 mpg and that is 12 more mpg than my 2017. When looking at all the other options out there, nothing compared with all the features for the price. I am glad to stay in the Hyundai family!

Hybrid Sonata 2021

The Sonata looks smart and handles well with the exception of when you don't completely stop--you can expect hesitation upon acceleration. Heating system isn't made for very cold weather (unless you are goes a long distance) but heated steering wheel and heated seats makes it more comfortable--only feet suffer.The cameras make it easy to park even if you don't have "self parking" feature on the car.

Great overall

Got the Hybrid. Fuel mileage incredible! Comfort, plenty of power, safe and fun to drive. The comfort options quickly have us spoiled. Just needs place to put my sunglasses and rear seat cup holders.

Surprisingly Stylish

Love the vehicle and it's MPG. Only thing inwish was better is the internal storage. Toyota spoiled me by utilizing all available void spaces with storage compartments. Definitely happy with the purchase overall.

Even Better Than Expected

Having just switched over from an SUV, we are really happy with our Sonata. Not only is the ride super-smooth (feels luxurious), the gas mileage is phenomenal. We are thrilled with the safety features and the awesome entertainment system.

My search for a quality Hybrid in Kentucky

I researched this vehicle extensively on line before narrowing my choice to the Toyota Camry Hybrid and Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. I’m Kentucky it is very difficult to get Hybrid vehicles as most seen to go to the West Coast. My wife is in the market for an electric vehicle and we have the same issue as with Hybrids. The vehicles are the future of automobiles and the car makers need the recognize this by proving more availability to all markets.

Elegant, efficient and affordable

I’ve been looking at Hyundai models for years. When they came out with the Sonata Hybrid I was sold. The fuel efficiency, styling, handling and everything included in the Limited package sold me immediately. It’s hard to believe that this beautiful piece of technology is the least expensive Hybrid on the market.

2021 sonata hybrid

I’ve had my 2021 Sonata hybrid for about a month now. It drives smoothly, the fuel economics my is great, I still have about half a tank of gas after one month of just regular in city driving, and it’s fun to drive. My only issue is the light colored seat material and texture seems to show dirt easily and it’s already gotten scuffed.

I love my 2021 Sonata Hybrid.

My vehicle is beautiful. I love the amenities, body style and color. The engine is quiet. I get over 550 miles per tank. The driver assistance is very helpful. The lane correction, blindspot and forward vehicle alerts have been extremely helpful. I highly recommend this vehicle and Hyundai of Gilroy.
