A Tank that's Comfy

I have owned numerous high level vehicles over the many years I have been driving, including domestic and European brands. My Hyundai Santa Fe 2013 is the best vehicle I have ever owned. It is very heavy and solid feeling and yet has an incredible turning radius, terrific handling, staying flat on turns as opposed to leaning very much, basically feeling like a tank and handling like a much smaller sports car! Additionally, it is smooth and very comfortable as far as the quality of ride is concerned. And probably most importantly, is that it is reliable. Hot weather or cold weather, it starts and it goes and therefore does the most important thing that a vehicle can do: it transports me from one point to another, reliably, safely, and in comfort.

2013 Hyundai Santa Fe

My ratings below indicate I love my 2013 Santa Fe. The overall styling is SUPERB! It is still the sleekest and best looking SUV on the market. And I have all the "bells and whistles" which makes it fun and easy to drive!!! The leather seats and adjustability add greatly to the comfort, especially on long trips.

Brakes are a serious issue.

I have always loved my 2013 Santa Fe Sport until my rear brakes failed for a second time just 23,800 miles since the first time when both front and rear brakes gave out, ruining the rear rotors each time. There was absolutely NO warning either time. There is only 57,000 miles on the vehicle. I do not ride the brake or otherwise cause premature wear. I will not buy this model again as there are obviously problems with brake wear, backed up by a quick google search. This was my first Hyundai and may be my last. The great comfort and features of my car are not as important as safety and the resulting expense.

Service has always been good.

Great car for a five passenger suv..we are in the process of looking at a larger suv. Probably going to the Honda Pilot for extra passenger seating and have ruled out the Toyota highlander. Thanks for your interest.

Hyundai Repair

I bought this 2013 Hyundai Sante Fe in April, 2018. I drove it about 3 weeks. The air conditioner and back up camera did not work so I took it back. It remained in the shop til the end of May. It remained in the shop a little over a month. I got it back and drove it for about 3 more weeks. There was a dragging sound coming from the engine so I took it back. It remained in the shop about a month and when i was told to pick the car up, I was told the check engine light was still on and my insurance would not pay to fix it. I called my insurance agent and was told Hyundai repair in college park could not tell them exactly what was wrong and they'd already paid almost $2000 and the car still was not fix. The insurance agent recommended I take the car to Hyundai Repair in Bowie which I did. Bowie kept the car for about six weeks, waiting for a motor and then to repair it. My insurance paid all except $200 which I had to pay. Already I am paying to repair a car I haven't had for 6 months and bought in good faith that the car was in excellent condition. Due to the problems I've had with this Hyundai, I will never buy another and will never recommend Hyundai to anyone!

My vechile has been good to me, beside one major fix the AC unit it has stood up well. I have driven her all over and I have a lot of miles on her. I hope she will continue to be good to me as I am good to her.

There is much to find that I am happy with in my purchase and after 5 years I am obviously content with it. I needed the seven seat capability and it was one of the main reasons I bought this car. Never had a Hyundai before but had my Honda for 15 years. I feel this car may go the distance.

I love everything about the automobile. The style, the performance, the color. It has been a very reliable automobile driving in town and on the highway. The only thing they could have improved on is the radio system. It does not have good reception on some of the FM stations I like to listen to.

Love My Santa Fe

My Santa Fe has been a wonderful vehicle. Hauls a lot, perfect for vacations, low maintenance, dogs love it, comfortable with lots of features. My only complaint is our service dealership closed so it is far to go for service at the dealer but the SUV itself is great.

2013 Santa Fe 2.0 Turbo

I have owned this car for 5 years and have 43,000 on it. It still runs as smooth and quiet as the day I bought t. And, most important to me is it has immediate acceleration and super power for a 4 cylinder car. The turbo works seamlessly. Love it.

Great, until!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought our HYUNDAI SANTA FE SPORT (2013) was the best, until now, when the paint began to bubble and peel on the hood. Turns out that HYUNDAI has a problem with a paint mixture that was supposed to eliminate scratches. Sun exposure ruins the paint and it begins to bubble and peel. Lets see if it is covered by them and I get a new paint job!

This is my 2nd Sante fe. My first one was demolished in an accident I was hit head on and this car saved my life! Needless to say I bought another also they are awesome in the snow! I feel very safe in this vehicle!

Nice, elegant, sporty and tough vehicle !

I drove this vehicle comfortably every day for almost five years. Put in extremely lots of mile (210,000 miles) in that period of time and it was still driving like new. Its a very reliable vehicle with a super warranty deal that no one else can offer. Even when my warranty was expired, Hyundai still honor that warranty.
