Multiple Issues with Airbag System

I have spent almost $3,000 replacing a defective airbag and tracking wiring faults. The vehicle is 7 years old with 44,000 miles on it. This is a not the type of expensive repair that should happen to a safety system at this age and mileage.

Santa Fe

Love my ride, had the first problem this week. Walked out to get in my vehicle and noticed a large patch of paint missing and another area bubbled up on the hood. Car has not been in an accident. The paint appears to be peeling off in large patches. Car runs great, is comfortable and gets great mileage. Just VERY disappointed in the paint job

I love my car

I love my car, it drives smoothly and everything is good. Mr. papi is an amazing car yay! Hyundai Santa fe i love it very comfortable, when you put your feet on the break it stop smoothly. I'm still getting used to the size but its amazing overall.

A surprise

Always though Hyundai was a cheap knock off of Honda. Until a friend got a Santa Fe and took me for ride. It was impressive. Smooth, quiet, powerful, loaded with features and good mileage. All at lower prices than competitors.

Love my car

Great car and truly love everything about it. Bought new in 2017, my husband is tall and I'm short fits us both due to how seats adjust. A greats car all the way around. I put another of miles on it 88000 to be exact and never one problem. Just recommend maintenance.

2017 Santa Fe

During the initial start of the truck after sitting in the cold all night, the first transmission change is a jerk or large clunk before the transmission engages. Had a transmission flush which was a total waste of money. This issue appears to be related to cold temperatures but not totally sure. Meaning, once the truck is warmed up the transmission changes smoothly. Only the first change after the truck has been sitting over night.

Dangerous Sticky steering wheel problem

The vehicle came with a sticky or notchy steering wheel that will not rotate freely but move from one slot to another, making it very dangerous to drive on highway in the winter. Its as if the grease froze around the steering column.

this car is perfect for me.

Major disappointments...

1. I had a rear main seal leak at only 36,000 miles. It was a major repair and the engine had to be pulled. At least it was covered under warranty. 2. I noticed major paint peeling under the rear window in the trunk area after 3 1/2 years. Interesting that the warranty was good for 3 years or 36,000 miles. This is a big issue for me!

Back seats rattle like crazy

Took it to Elder Hyundai while under warranty. They said they were ordering a new back seat due to excessive rattle. Called multiple times and never heard back. Probably not under warranty any longer. Not impressed with that dealership or how they do business. Back seat still rattles like crazy.

Great quality

Best quality vehicle I've every owned. I'm 61 years old, and I've owned a few. This compares to Honda, Toyota, and GM vehicles I've owned or own. Ride is great, cabin noise is very low, and handling is second to none.

Been a great vehicle. Has features that you would pay much more for on most other manufacturers. Our second Hyundai and will probably be our third. The entire Hyundai line of SUV's is are stylish and loaded with extra features.

My Santa fe is a very good value and is easy on fuel. It only had 19600 miles on it when I bought it. I enjoy driving the Santa fe. It is very sporty. I have taken it on several road trips and it is very comfortable to travel in.

Thee Best Vehicle I have ever owned. It surpasses my expectations. Everyone who rides in it wants to buy it!

I brag about my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe SE, 7 seat, 6 cylinder to everyone! My son is 6'8" tall and he fits and he is very comfortable. I am 5/10" and I can sit behind him with room to spare! My 20 year old grandson works at a Body Shop and says this SUV is so stable and built so well. The heated seats are delight, and the cameras and change lanes warnings have saved us all more than once. I hauled most of my 20x20 storage unit furnishings in this SUV, saving me hundreds upon hundreds of dollars. Stable in the wind, and when tractor trailers pass. Love the big mirrors, The vision is excellent. We drove in the heaviest storm and it was a solid stable car. Buy one.

This is a great vehicle for storage, for driving, for affordability, and for gas mileage you can’t beat the price for what you were getting I love my Santa Fe. I do many hours of driving long distance and I I love the lumbar support and the comfort and ease of how my vehicle handles I can put amazing things in it and it’s not too big or bulky the design is excellent
