First Hyundai since an Accent in 1997. Definitely an upgrade.

Overall excellent. MPG higher than expected, very comfortable, interior surfaces are very nice. The screen for the HVAC and comfort features should be bigger and above infotainment screen. Control emojis are TOO SMALL and difficult to use while driving. The infotainment system is just "okay" on our model, sound quality is good. These heated seats are amazing.

Wonderful vehicle except for the atrocious city gas mileage.

I love everything about my 2026 Santa Fe Calligraphy except for the absolutely atrocious city gas mileage. I decide not to go with the hybrid due to the reduced power and the advertised and what I thought still reasonable 20 MPG in the city of the traditional 4 cylinder gas engine. The Jeep Cherokee this replaced was a 8 cylinder Hemi beast that got only got 13 MPG. When I saw this Santa Fe was rated for 20 MPG in the city I was super happy. It's unbelievable but I am only getting 12-13 MPG with my new Santa Fe driving around the city. I rarely need to use the freeway so my driving is 90% stop and go city traffic. I ditched my Jeep because I felt bad with it getting such terrible gas milage and here I am now with a brand new car that gets exactly the same MPG or worse and has half the power and capability. If I could go back I would definitely go a different direction with my vehicle choice. Since I can't go back I can at least say everything else is wonderful, much more luxury that my jeep, and great styling except for the rear hatch. I both the extended warranty so if it lasts me the full 10 years without serious issues I think I will end up being happy with it overall.

First months use of our new Santa Fe has been terrific.

We're enjoying our new vehicle. Makes travel so much more fun and comfortable. It takes some time to get used to all of the new technology and features, but each day we learn a little bit more. It's a beautiful vehicle - rides exceptionally well - has a terrific sound system. So far ... we love it.

Our Santa Fe

We absolutely love the Santa Fe. It’s fun to drive and we love all features. The only thing I would change would be your cup placement for your drinks in the front. I would have the wireless charger go vertical rather than horizontal on one side and the cups vertical rather than horizontal next to the wireless charger. As a driver, the cupholder sit too far back to be easily accessible.

Hyundai Hit A Home Run With the Santa Fe

The Santa Fe is a great vehicle for people who owned vehicles that were too small to be big and too big to be small SUV’s. Regardless of the trim level, it will satisfy all your needs and of course you can pick the trim level that you want to keep your payments where you want them. The ride is smooth and the gas mileage is surprisingly good both around town or on long trips. The Infotainment System and screen are easy to integrate with your phone and easy to use. The Santa Fe is truly comfortable, user friendly and nice to drive.

Technology dies not always work as expected

Car handles well and has many belts and whistles but it keeps dropping the apple play and other connections and require resetting often. It also needs a bit more visibility as often difficult to see other traffic when turning

Great vehicle for comfort, safety, and mileage

The Hyundai Santa Fe has been a smooth and dependable vehicle since my purchase in October of 2025. The drive is smooth on both city streets and highway roads. The auto-steering feature is great for long distances, and there are many other safety features included to keep drivers alert and focused on the road. Seats are very comfortable, extra third row availability, and the phone app is a wonderful feature to manage your vehicle. Mileage is great so far and am looking forward to taking it on a road trip.
