The car has been what we expected it to be. We are enjoying it.

The car is intuitive to drive and could only be improved by adding more features but then the price point would not be as desireable. The only problem I have had is the rear hatch and the doors don't always shut all the way.

Joy to drive

Purchased 4 months ago. It's been a joy ever since. I actually believe that I get mmore miles on 1 full charge than typically expected from the published numbers.

I am happy with the Ionia 5. It drives really well, is efficient and looks great. Oh and it’s very roomy inside.

Excellently Designed Car with Minor Issues

The cabin design is excellent and allows for easy access to controls. I owned a Kia Ev6 previously. The Hyundai has better sightlines, though essentially the same platform. The only issue that I have had is with the shift actuator. This component failed after 127 miles. It took a month for the dealer to acquire the replacement part. I thought that value was excellent with the Hyundai rebate. The car is extremely comfortable and rides better than my Kia did. Love the cameras. They are very helpful in heavy traffic. Overall, high marks for an excellent design.

Great car so far.

A few minor annoyances, but the car is extremely fun to drive. My biggest concern is the lack of a spare tire. While I hadn’t had a flat for decades in previous cars, this last year I had three tire blowouts within six months on my previous car.

What I wanted, and then some

I’ve been looking into EV‘s and considering several different models from different brands. What ultimately brought me to Hyundai is the price, 0% promotion, and the warranty coverage. I watched every video I could find for several months, and tried to convince myself not to buy a Hyundai. Surely someone has a bad experience? I couldn’t find one. So, I relented, and I’m so glad I did. Other than a few quirks common with any mass produced vehicle straight off the line, it has been a dream. And it has been running fantastic ever since. I’ve already been tricking it out and customizing it to make it my own. I can’t wait to go camping with it!

Hard to see icons for fan speed, etc. Too faint. Back window has that overhang that keeps the carwash from being able to clean all the glass . Rear wiper blade small. Seats hard to slide in on. I am overall pleased with the car. You asked for my opinion and gave you some of my observations so far. Thanks for asking. Hope it helps for future design.

Great car but delivered new with two bugs requiring repeated service

Great car but delivered with two flaws that require repeated service visits: rearview digital display does not work (dealer addressed but did not fix, ordered another part, return service visit TBD, digital rearview currently does not work; vented seats drivers side does not worked (now fixed)
