Great Overall

Great overall car. Ready to drive. Smooth. Comfortable. I wish there were more AWD available. The tech is good, but there could be more. Would it as value? Probably not, but would be a nice add. Overall great vehicle.

I am happy Ioniq5 Owner

Performance is as expected or slightly better. I like the NACS compatibility for charging. I hope the future version will have an even more extended range.

Great Ride

My Ioniq5 is my first EV and I will never go back to fossil burners again! The ride is superb and the economy is unsurpassed. I have gone for months at a time spending 0 on my charging. The warnings for cross traffic when I back up and side traffic when I change lanes has made my driving very stress free.

Very pleased with Ioniq5

My Hyundai Ioniq5 replaced a 2015 Sonata. I am very pleased with my Ioniq5. It has been very easy to figure out everything I need on the dashboard. It is the perfect size for me and is easy and pleasant to drive. I am happy to be helping the environment by charging it partially with solar energy from the solar panels on my house. I really like the digital teal color.

Electrical Failure

The car I leased has suffered three ICCU failures causing completed electrical failure. The 3rd failure after repair we were told they had found the problem and it was safe to drive. Six hours later we were stranded on the side of a busy highway for three hours the car was completly dead even the flashers to warn cars at night had stopped. This ws my second Ioniq 5. I had a 2024 which had the same failure, I moved to a 2026 because they said the problem had been fixed in the newer model. That did not turn out to be true.

Lovely car, would buy again, room for some improvements

Overall very happy with the car so far, would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for this size vehicle. Great entry EV as well. A few things I have found frustrating: * The emergency breaking and collision detection has a lot of false positives, and has more than once fired violently while I was in control and carefully maneuvering to avoid the hazard. This is particularly common when parking or turning and a car is moving nearby even if not actually a collision hazard. It will even forcibly put the car in park, preventing you from moving which can be a hazard in its own right * The surround cameras, and the reconstructed 3d view of the car, are very poor and often distort things beyond recognition. I find the 3d view essentially unusable, which is too bad because I was excited to upgrade my trim to include it. * The infotainment center takes _forever_ to start up, including two separate overlays you have to tap through or wait to go away, easily 15s of waiting before you can do anything * The memory settings on the driver's seat are easy to muddle, and then you can't reset them while driving

Vehicle on/off & Lock/Unlock Feature

Ioniq is my 5th EV. At least the last 2bof my EVs had auto off and On capabilities and all of them had auto lock and unlock features. Missing these are the most annoying part of the Ioniq 5 experience.

Great Car, Great Ride, Great Value

I love our IONIQ 5. The look is great and the way it drives... power and super smooth. The highway driver-assist features take almost all the stress out of driving.

Never going back

Geat Electric Car.

I have now owned 4 electric cars and one hybrid. As the electric cars go, this is the best. It is beautiful to look at both inside and outside and many of the things that I didn't like about the 2024 ionic have been improved. Having an electric passenger seat is great, having air conditioning vents in the rear is something that I have always wanted in a car and finally adding the rear windshield wiper is something that was greatly needed for safety. Some of the electronic extras are not that user friendly but this is a great car. we like it so much that when our lease is up in 3 years we will probably buy out the lease.
