Good value for for a very nice EV

The car is comfortable and handles well. Seats are a 9 out of ten comfort level for us. It also regularly exceeds advertised miles per KWH. It has plenty of cargo area and is generally spacious for driver and passengers. I think the Hyundai design team did an excellent job of combining form and function. the infotainment and climate system has a nice mix of analog and digital controls. We have few complaints, but we still need to list them. Vehicle diagnostics and Hyundai tech are still below average. Our digital mirror worked for a month, stopped functioning and after 2 attempts at fixing, has yet to be repaired. The infotainment sound quality, even with the premium sound system sound quality is sub par. The radio reception is poor (same with our old KIA Niro EV). Last one - the lane assist dithers (wanders) too much to be of much use except for straight stretches of multi lane highway.

A Comfortable, Quiet Vehicle

My IONIQ 5 is a joy to drive. The driving experience is so much better than an ICE vehicle. Charging at home is very convenient.

Great car and much cheaper to run than a gas vehicle.

This is my 4th EV and I much prefer it over my last 2. It runs well and charges very quickly. I do wish it had a towing option and better range but otherwise I am satisfied with it.

Drives smoothly but

When you have your windows down it's so loud. It sounds like it's windy outside but there's no wind at all and the car dynamic was just built wrong. Also when I turn into the free way the car kinda stops a little instead of accelerate.

The dumbest smart car you cab get

While the driving is smooth, 0-60 speed is good, there are some cons that surprised me because any car would have these them days. - No auto walk away lock. Any cheap car has this now. Car’s have had this for decades. - No auto walk away window roll up and can’t do it remotely. - No auto Day Light Savings mode - you have to change it manually every time it changes - iPedal needs to be reactivated every time you start the car. - No iPedal for reverse gear. - The line drawings in the reverse gear camera do not match the trajectory at all - Front seats not comfortable. They have a narrow arch, so only people with very narrow shoulders can fit in it.

Maybe…. Just maybe

The car that almost had it all… My Elantra had Digital Key the only issue not supported by Apple. I bought the Ioniq 5 SEL online and Hyundai site it stated it had Digital Key 2 (now available with Apple) come to find not on my trim as stated. Major feature I wanted since buying my first Hyundai…. Looks like it would be with a different brand for this feature…. Why Hyundai. why?

The Bluetooth connection is not reliable for Apple Maps. Unfortunately, it is very good at pickup Spotify from my iPhone.

Good quality and value for the price. Finally an EV for pragmatists.

The vehicle combines excellent range, convenient and future fit charging tech and setup, spacious interior and cargo space with the available awd and “snow mode” making it a reliable and practical means of everyday transportation. As quiet as a luxury car, with a well tuned and thoughtfully designed set of convenience and safety features. great for the price point (I have the no frills, long range awd trim level)

Inooq 5SEL

Great vehicle. The SEL has great features. At the time of purchase the Limited saw not available. Limited has a few more features and I am not sorry I got the SEL. Charging in convenient and all of the adapters are included. Native level 3 Tesla . Mileage is good and cost of running with a home charger is great

So far so good…

Leased a 2024 Ioniq 5 and when the lease was about up, looked for a used EV. I wasn’t finding anything that felt as comfortable as this. W/ promos this was the best deal out there. The 2026 includes the much needed updates that the 2024 didn’t have. My only concern is the ICCU issue some have has issues with. I’m hopeful it’s just a small % of owners.

Spacious, stylish, economical EV

My initial two and a half months of ownership has been fun with no problems. Smooth ride, easy to operate and excellent interior (spacious, informative and clear 12.3” screens and buttons for radio and AC)

I really love this car. Going from a ICE vehicle to an EV has been incredible. Technology is great and the overall quality has been great. The biggest reason for the 4/5 is for the ICCU issue. I wish this would have been resolved sooner but appreciate the new warranty that covers it for longer.
