Excellent but UI of screen is amateurish.
Free car connectivity should enable charging initiation at partner Electrify America. Now I need cell phone data or expensive hotspot subscription to charge at Electrify America.
Would like to add second car to key fob so we don't have to carry 2nd bulky fob for second car. Would like to be able to switch fob off so we don't unlock second car when walking to usual car. (Other driver needs 2nd car to unlock with proximity and not unlock 1st car.)
Speed limit indicator could be better for people who need reading glasses. 3D speed and power displays are a lot of nonsense, give us data (graph+numbers) not '3D' junk.
Give us more customizable hardware buttons (not just 2).
Voice command set is very limited.
Having to set I-Pedal mode and lane assistance EVERY time is annoying.
Climate control keeps opening air even when far below freezing, which lets very cold air in. Car heater cannot keep up so we have to keep closing air. Wastes much energy.
Manual is absolutely terrible, written by software engineers and lawyers. Too much repetition of legal warnings and no way to tell what features apply to the trim level of own car. Not indexed properly, badly arranged. Printed copy hard to use, have to use PDF to find anything.
BlueLink software is very buggy and unreliable. Often says "something went wrong". Support for BlueLink is very slow and then says "call customer service" after many weeks. That is not support at all. They can call Customer service, get the answers and then answer the customer.
Built in navigation is way inferior to Google Maps. Thankfully we can use Android Auto Play to use maps instead.
Battery conditioning switching is too obscure and only works with built-in navigation which lacks traffic data in rural areas.
No indication of what 1/4 means at charging station. 1 of 4 free, or 1 of 4 in use?
Display screen size is very nice. Seats are comfortable even for very tall people.
Rings for cargo net hooks are very hard to open.
Frunk wastes a lot of space below it, it could have much better volume.
12V battery seems to be wrong type for EV. We don't need high current type needed for starting ICE. External plug to jump start/charge 12V would be sensible.
Light in trunk should use LED.
Headrests of rear seats should be removable as they get in the way of large cargo items with seats folded down.
Can't remove rear seats to make more cargo space.
No rear windscreen wiper (fixed in 2025).
