Controls programmed by 14 yr old gamer who does not know how to drive

Well designed mechanically. Programming is not good enough to be terrible. However since sensor are not accurate, no amount of programming will help bad sensor selection. And most of the sensors are the same for all manufacturers. Screen design is also shows that graphics are not helpful. The mph is often obscured by the steering wheel, as it is not placed in the center of the screen. But there are Wing graphics that will depict things with no value?! Hyundai uses programming when it should use control logic.

Hyundai Finance Experience was Terrible

I forgot to add that the workers for Hyundai Finance call my father and I and harass us about not paying a bill that is in dispute. My father and I were co owners on the Ioniq 5. Again, I am a reasonable person but We have never missed a payment and the only reason the bill was not paid was that we are disputing the charge. This treatment is unacceptable. I even sent a certified letter to Hyundai Finance in America with no response. I am not sure what country the collection calls are from.

Hyundai Finance Expeirence was Terrible

I NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT AND HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE UNTIL> After Hyundai Finance charged me for front Grille I replaced with proof (bills, pictures etc) of 481.00 , I will never buy a Hyundai vehicle again. It is sad that I have to deal with people that I barely understand , not from this country, hard to hear with much background noise. After proving I replaced it with everything they asked me to,. All they wanted to do is get theirm money. I am sure they work on commission. They just kept changing what was needed. Email after email and call after call!! I called and email over 20 times. I hope this was not reported to the credit bureaus , because all I was doing was disputing a charge. My 2 months up is not up to re lease either to get the charges waived! (81 total and I alreadt paid the lease turn in of 440. My father and me have never missed a payment ever from anyone and my father is 64 . I am looking for. avehicle right now since the Kia EV 6 lease is up in my family. We were going re lease the Ioniq 5. Unfortunately, I have to look to other companies.

Great choice for an EV!

Good spacious car, very comfortable inside. We sometimes rent for long road trips and then realize how spoiled we are. As an EV, it moves very smooth and quietly, making music in the vehicle more enjoyable too.

I loved this car. I miss it terribly because the 12volt bat has died!

I have had my Ioniq 5 for just over a year. (I had the original Ioniq for five years). I love the 5... but the other day, out of nowhere, the 12 volt battery broke. It is currently in the shop and has been for a week. The service has been horrible because they aren't telling me any information. When I finally got through to someone, apparently the part it needs is on backorder. No time prognosis. Apparently all loner vehicles are gas and are unavailable. I am just out of a car in an incredibly inconvenient time of life and worried it will be a long time before I am reunited with my new car. I am shocked at the quality of this vehicle and surprised to have had such a poor experience with the team.

Good Car might need some alterations

This is a great car for an electric vehicle however I did not know everything drains the electrical battery. So I am charging the Car quicker than I thought I would have. I cannot install a charging unit at an apartment complex which means I'm dependent on Electrify America stations. The vehicle should have come with an adapter so that I can charge it at more stations like Tesla. There are some design flaws as water collects in some of the door wells and definitely all around the Hatch. The car has stated the art equipment and can virtually drive itself. There's great audio and I have not had any problems with the dash panel.

It's a good, comfortable, and luxurious car, but the battery life drops very quickly. I've had it for two years and it gets 30 miles per charge less than normal. Not good.

Great with one big issue. ICCU.

This has to be one of my favorite cars. I wouldn't change it for the world but cannot recommend it to anyone as there is one big issue that has yet to be fixed or addressed. The ICCU can blow and you can be left stranded wherever you are. Hyundai has yet to fix the issue or part. I love the car though. Best lease ever and will keep it after.

Avoid this car until Hyundai begins to take accountability!

The car has major reliability and build quality issues. Battery and ICCU issues are very common and dealerships and corporate cannot handle appropriately. At best, they have been negligent and at worst, they have committed fraud. They are replacing defective equipment with new defective equipment. I paid to lease a car that was frequently in the repair shop for the first half of the year.

Great Car but a Couple of Short-comings

Nice car with great performance. I wish the SE model had better range and a rear windshield wiper. I would have appreciated an automatic liftgate close feature on the base model and a programmable garage door opener feature built in. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the car and features.

Ioniq 5 2024 Hyundai

Very good overall with comfort, visibility, size and safety features. It is fun to drive. Difficulty with battery charging as this is now taking 45 minutes to 1 hour charge to 100% at Electrify America. Difficult to drive beyond 2 hours because of lack of charging stations and battery capacity.

ICCU failure

I enjoyed the car when it ran, and thought it a good value when I purchased it. ICCU failure required towing, and currently I have no definitive estimate for when I'll get the car back (it has been 10 days now).
