Car performs well, but has many smaller issues

This car performs fairly well and gets pretty good mileage, but has many annoying issues that detract. Like: the car has no spare tire. It has a tire refill can, but you can only use it once and it costs $80 to get a replacement. Thankfully I bought the full tire warranty, so every time that I blow out a tire (they have the smaller racy tires), I call Hyundai to come tow the car in & get the tire replaced. Next, there is apparently no way to turn off the annoying automatic switch to air intake based on seemingly random notions, which are not limited to how long you have the intake off, whether you have the roof open, etc. You can turn it back to no-intake, but it switches back automatically. Very Annoying! Next, my salesman promised me that we would get a heated steering wheel, but we bought it during the summer, and I never checked until months later - not only is there no heated steering wheel, but also Hyundai simply does not make one for the Elantra. I'll stop there, though there are probably more annoying things.

a not a good car for short people

Not finding things accessible use... the seat belt hard to get to , need an extension. the cup holder is too low , have to buy an insert, the information panel is not easily reachable.

Good car

One thing I don’t like is the time that the back view takes to get out of the screen when I start driving forward. Another issue is that twice happened that my car had to be outside overnight on a cold weather and when I started to drive the panel was displaying several msgs that says disabling a few features. It goes back to normal after a while.

Front glass even a small stone hit on the road it cracks very easily the quality is so poor compared to other brands

Not much head room. Uncomfortable on long drives. own after 20,000.

Not much head room. Uncomfortable on long drives. Bump my head getting in and out when seat at most comfortable drive position. Started out with good mileage but going down after 20,000.

Great Value

Great vehicle for the money. The health app is clunky and says that I require service every 2,500 miles based on my driving. And shows up as a warning. I will point it out to the dealer next time I go in. This is the second issue with blue link. I had an 2023 and liked the key better than the 2024. They changed it from a smaller and heavier duty fob to a light plastic larger one. Other than that, car is great. Requires a little more maintenance being a GDI engine . Gas mileage is great in warmer weather. 52-55 mpg winter in NH I am getting 44-48 mpg. Vehicle is comfortable to drive and take it when we travel longer distances.
