I bought primarily for milage. Ride is good;

Biggest complaint is lane assist. I covered the camera because have to fight the wheel. I have a 2034 Tucson and lane assist is amazing. The Elantra’s lane assist will probably kill someone.

Love the gas milage.

Gas milage in town is sometimes 60+ mpg! awesome. The only thing is when your on a highway the interior noise is sometime a little much. I felt like I was yelling trying to talk on the phone on my last trip. But price wise, and milage wise. I won't hear anytime bad coming from me. Nice Car!!

All Around Great Car

The Elantra Hybrid is a good value. I am getting 47 miles to the gallon and the car is fun to drive--it has almost a sports-car feel. The electronics are both extensive and easy to use. The safety features are terrific . It is a good looking car and the Limited trim line has very nice fit and finish.

Love everything about my new car, save for a few nitpicks

So many great features that I love. Here are a few things I'd change, though: 1) That stupid confirm language screen at startup is unnecessary and patronising. Get rid of it. 2) Would love to have the doors automatically lock when I walk away from the vehicle when i have the fob on me (which is always). It's annoying having to dig out the key fob to lock the door. 3) The touchless trunk open is temperamental. Sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't. Needs to be more consistent. 4) BlueLink needs to give us more options for setting remote climate start. Here in Texas, using the recirculated air tends to fog the windows, and then I have to run the defroster, which is a waste of time and energy. Let us opt into the fresh air option instead. Also: Let us set temps. You preset option makes the cabin too dang cold! 5) I know you have to pay lip service to CAFE standards, but I'd rather set my car to SMART mode and forget about it. It's annoying having to set it every single time I get in the car. 6) The center console is kinda....stingy. A bit more space would be welcome in future models. I use rather small handbags (usually the size of an A5 notebook about 50mm thick), but only the very smallest ones would fit in the the center console, where I've kept my handbag with other cars. Putting it in the door is kinda not great, because if it slips from my hands, it lands on the ground instead of in the car. 7) The trunk apparently doesn't seal tightly. Along the bottom rim, if we have rain, any dirt that comes up from the road settles at the bottom of where the trunk lid's bottom fits. V. annoying that we have to clean that ourselves. 8) The cargo containers don't play with the rug covering the wheel wheel. The rug needs to be cut to work around it, somehow, or the cups need to have velcro on the bottom to fit on top of the carpet. 9) Not providing a spare tire is kinda chintzy. A tire repair kit is NOT an adequate substitute. Other than those small things, I love the car to pieces.

Transmission went bad two times in less than 2000 miles!

First transmission went bad at 1200 miles, then it had to go back to service 500 miles later with the same issues. No trust in the car now.

Excellent Car for the Most Part

Cruise Control revs RPM high and keeps power low unnecessarily. Lane Assist is not good at all at centering the car in the lane and keeps you swerving across the road.

Not hybrid that all

Consume mucha gasolina ,más que un vehículo normal y no es híbrido del todo al ver cuánto consume. Si recorro 22 millas gasta combustible como si hubiera recorrido 35 o 40 millas,consume el doble de gasolina or distancia en cada viaje . La alerta de considerar tomar un descanso me tiene la vida arruinada y en el dealer quieren justificar y normalizar esas fallas diciendo que es por uso de teléfono cuando claramente no es así y mi tío que ha estado conmigo en el vehículo se ha dado cuenta. El dealer no han querido hacerse responsables y me dicen ven la siguiente semana ,y la siguiente semana me dicen que recargue con gasolina y vaya la próxima ,así ya he ido al rededor de 8 veces. Pésimo

Catalytic Converter failure

Catalytic Converter failed within first month. Issue with conversion from gas to electric within 3 months. Issue taken care of with software update. Otherwise, vehicle is great.

Sleek, Comfortable and Gas Saving!

This car is exactly what is called for in these difficult times of financial uncertainty and riding gas costs. I have cut my gas usage in half after getting this car! And I also felt like I’m helping the environment as well as my pocket!

Limited features are limited!

Bought Limited Elantra and features are no comparison to my 2025 Hyundai Tucson. No garage door openers on the mirror, you need a wire to use Android auto, no overhead camera in reverse, no cameras on side view mirrors when you're changing lanes, just to mention a few of the items I'm lacking. My sales guy told me that if I got the limited edition it would have everything that my Tucson had. Again very disappointed

Blue hybrid Elantra

We are enjoying the car. But not liking the inability to lock doors without a key fob present. Was told by salesman it had the enhanced cruise control and it doesn't. Thought being called a Blue hybrid it would have come with bluelink and it doesn't. Our old 2019 Toyota Prius had all these. So it doesn't amount to much of a upgrade.
