Fantastic car

The 2.5 GV80 is a really great vehicle at a fantastic price. I love the interior design and the tech / saftey features. You get a lot of bang for your buck with a ton of features incldued in the base model. The drive is smooth with great handling and decent acceleration. Quiet cabin with top notch aesthetic.

Beautiful but unrefined

Beautiful looking car inside and out but the 2.5T AWD is unrefined. The engine is buzzy and the transmission causes the steering wheel to vibrate at low RPM. Cold starting this vehicle in the mornings will not impress your neighbors if you are that superficial. Unpleasant sound until the RPM drops then it is quite and then buzzing begins once in drive. Vehicle auto start is harsh and I would say the worst I have experienced. After two visits to a Hyundai dealership I still experienced wheel balancing issues. The ride is smooth until you hit a bump or slush in the road. The vehicle will rock side to side. Cabin is quiet while cruising until you give it some gas you will hear the buzzing engine. It’s not loud just buzzy. I drive with my music to block out the sound but you will feel the shaking during start and stop. My first visit to the service department was unpleasant and not luxury vehicle worthy. I considered trading my vehicle because of that and still might because it drinks gas.

So far, so good.

One month is a small sample size, far too short to give a definitive evaluation. I was pleased with my experience with my previous Genesis, so I’m looking forward to a good experience with the new model GV80. As an older driver, I wish the media options included a port for an Apple iPod and a CD player.

Great Ride. Great Value.

Looks great. Rides quiet. Sound system is perfect. Display is great. Cameras all around so safety features are plentiful. Overall 10/10 compared to the cars I’ve owned and the price point makes it better than the others if you don’t care about labels.

The fuel consumption is poor, interior sound quality from exterior could be better and the placements of the front licenses plate and rear wiper takes away from its beauty.

The GV80 is an absolutely gorgeous vehicle that comes with all the bells and whistles. The design and style are an eye-catcher. Performance and handling is extremely reliable which makes my daily commute and long road trips less stressful. The GV80’s 21 speaker sound system offers a clear, crisp sound for immersive listening. I hope Genesis is here to stay and will continue to provide an exceptional product for it's customers in years to come.

there are no words to describe this wonderful car.

could you please try to give the 2.5 engine all of the luxury of the 3.5. I would be the first one to buy it. inside papmering with a smaller engine is just the right car for me. I was under the impression that when I buy the prestige package and the 2.5 engine, the inside cabin would have all of the goodies as the 3.5 , but it did not....

Expect the unexpected

Finding a vehicle that could accommodate me and my physical disabilities was important. The 360 camera, the front and rear cameras, and the turn signal cameras are a huge help since I am unable to turn due to fusions in my neck and back. The Genesis has enough headroom for me to easily get in and out and the seats have so many comfort functions that anyone could find a comfortable position. One of the most important things that I commonly had problems with were the headrest in cars. The Genesis’ headrest is the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced.

Safety, style and luxury

I cannot be happier with our new GV80. It drives like a car - so smooth and easy to handle. No road noise. Great sound system. The safety features are incredible. And it is beautifully styled - inside and out. Having been a Honda / Acura driver most of my adult life, I can say that I am very satisfied with this Genesis GV80. I was driving a 2020 Acura RDX with the technology package. It was nowhere near as user friendly as the technology the GV80 offers.

Amazing Vehicle

By far the most amazing luxury vehicle out on the market currently. Genesis really created a masterpiece with the GV80. Wonderful Vehicle from inside to out. The only complaint that I can come up with is why did it take so long to create. I really see this brand taking off in the upcoming years and the GV80 will be the reason why. GREAT JOB!!

Great vehicle for an amazing price

Fun to drive SUV. Dealership treats you like you like a king not like the Mercedes or BMW dealerships. Definitely would purchase another Genesis as the GV80 is amazing ride and great in all weather conditions. Has ample power and the comfort, even in the back seats is off the charts.

My GV80 Review

I'm disappointed that you "spring" the 250 minimum character requirement at the end of the survey ! The car is a beauty and has lots of power, but rides stiffly - particularly for a luxury vehicle. The interior is gorgeous and very comfortable even on long rides !

Very pleased with the vehicle. The experience with the dealership was extremely positive. I have Nothing further to say at this time since my experience is limited to a one month ownership and 1400 miles driving experience. To ask a new owner all these questions and expect a true reading of the vehicle is unrealistic.

3rd Genesis for me and loving every one i have owned!

The GV80 is going to be the 3rd Genesis i have owned and I've been extremely satisficed so far with all of my Genesis cars i have had. Not only with the cars but also the service for them. The main factors for me that i will always be looking at Genesis is that the value for the money just just incredible. You're not going to find a competitor out there in the segment that comes close to the features vs money! Plus another big bonus is that people do not yet know who Genesis may be as much as the know the competition. So you will always get looks and compliments on the car you drive. Since it's very unique!
