Great luxury vehicle without luxury service
I believe our review already addressed our disappointment with the lack of quality going through service. I don't know why there are no luxury loaner vehicles available, why there is not a single contact person to make a customer feel not like the number the car tagged with, customer should not have to remove plastic to keep vehicle clean (which I still think the dirt on the suede roof is from this (I have yet to attempt cleaning but thankfully we purchased this package), why did it take more than an hour to confirm that it doesn't accept gas only to the reschedule a follow-up appointment (and I do know how to fuel a vehicle), time is valuable and I don't have spare time to sit in service waiting for a brand to car to be repaired, I purchased the top of the line luxury suv and do not want to drive a high mileage basic car, why were we charged for $40 gas without being told how much was put into the tank and cost per gallon, the time of repair completion seems to always be unknown...
I could go on but I'm sure that you have heard that I am frustrated and if I would have known how I would be treated in service, I would have purchased another brand that I did not have to wait a year for and had to settle on a color that I did not select. I hope you realize how poor customer service ruins a product brand. Again, the GV80 looks great and is even greater to drive. However, I dread heading back to service even if only for an oil change. We likely should not have pre-paid maintenance.
