Luxury ride that deserves better support
I’ve been driving my Genesis GV80 for a while now, and there’s no denying it — this SUV turns heads and delivers an incredible experience behind the wheel. It’s fun to drive, with a smooth yet responsive ride that feels balanced and confident whether I’m cruising the highway or navigating city streets.
The tech inside is top-tier. From the widescreen display to the fingerprint authentication and smart cruise control, everything feels intuitive and futuristic. The GV80 also nails the luxury aesthetic — clean lines, premium materials, and an interior that rivals much pricier European brands.
Where it falls short? Service and support. Getting maintenance or answers shouldn’t be this complicated. Genesis needs way more standalone dealerships. Right now, it feels like the ownership experience doesn’t match the quality of the vehicle — and that’s a letdown for a brand trying to compete in the luxury space.
Bottom line: I love driving this SUV and wouldn’t trade it — but Genesis still has work to do on the backend if they want to win long-term loyalty.
