Nice car but needs some changes
I have bought a Hyundai every 5 to 7 years for 22 years. At one time you got a loyalty discount but not this year with the 2026 Tucson I bought. Though I absolutely LOVED my 2019 Tucson and all the features I traded it in for a 2026 Tucson because it was 7 years old. First off, the 2026 took away the handy sunglass holder and extra tray in the middle console, may be petty to say but they were a plus for me and super handy. Then the new screen with the fancy word infotainment system is very large and for me the added Podcast feature is not a plus. If I forget to bring my phone, you can't use the voice activation. And the voice activation won't change radio stations for me like the 2019 did. I took it back to the dealer and they reset it but it still doesn't work. Next the heated seat buttons are too small and to touch sensitive. When I change the climate control the heat seat buttons are so close and sensitive to touch, I turn the seats on all the time and don't know it until my seat gets hot. The climate control buttons on the 2019 were more eye level where the 2026 is far too low and you have to take your eyes off the road for more seconds that is safe to do what is needed on the controls. The stop and go it traffic A button should not be on by default. It jerks the car and is annoying if I forget to turn it off. Seats are much smaller than my 2026 and not as soft. The car handles nice and is quieter to ride in and has a bigger liter than my 2019 which is nice, but I should have kept my 2019.
