Good-looking, drives good, comfortable just has a few issues. They are listed in the survey.
The Tucson is a really good looking car, it drives and handles very well as you would expect. It has decent power and performance on the road, it's well laid out and comfortable inside with well thought out features and accessories. However a brand new vehicle that costs upwards of 40 to 45,000 dollars should not have the problems it has had in my opinion. This is our 3rd new Hyundai and the only one I have had problems with, the first 2 were excellent in every way. I would not recommend a new Tucson to anyone at this point and am looking at other brands altogether, which is sad because there are family and friends who buy based on mine and my husband's recommendations. New vehicle prices continue to climb and manufacturers show record breaking profits year after year, while the dependability and reliability continue to decline with most manufacturers using cheaper components and inferior parts to increase speed of manufacturing and increase there profits. I understand the business of making money for your shareholders and making a living for your employees. But it should not be there primary concern. Especially at the expense of the consumer, and the reputation of the brand. Brand quality and reliability used to mean more to manufacturers who wanted to stay in business and continue to make money over the long haul and build a good vehicle at the same time. Rather than make a quick buck with inferior products. This business practice has only led to a bad name and business closings all over the world. That's why the phrase disposable Chinese junk, and buy once cry once are used even in this day and age. We are all ultimately consumers and should be expected to pay more for better quality and reliability, and pay less for unreliable, poor quality products and services. But we should also be seen as the bosses, since these companies all really work for us as we are the ones paying them, just as any boss pays his employees for the work they perform. Unfortunately they don't understand this concept any longer just as the government does not. Once an entity grows enough they forget who actually keeps them in business and provides for them ultimately . I do not, along with most of the people I have spoken with do not feel this is a reliable and sustainable business practice that can continue to proceed. Manufacturers need to make better products, and fix problems that arise after the sale not forget them as soon as they pull off the lot and look to the next buyer on the lot with dollar signs in there eyes. If they can not build better vehicles then lower the prices back where they were at so people can afford there cheaply built disposable cars and trucks . The poor business practices of these companies must change or they will all eventually manufacture and price themselves out of business entirely.
