Wish I had kept my 2020 Santa Fe or gotten the 2026 Tuscan Limited
Before purchasing this 2026 Tucson XRT I had a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. I actually loved my Santa Fe but decided to get a new vehicle because it was good timing with mileage. They changed the body style of the Santa Fe to the not pleasing box style so I decided to get the Tucson. I decided to get this Tucson XRT instead of the limited and I’m not happy with my decision.
There were just a lot of things that I didn’t realize I was going to miss. The little things add up. The motor is loud and the steering is not as tight as I would like. Very touchy. It doesn’t allow me to change my steering mode like the 2020 did. It doesn’t even have his sunglasses holder by the ceiling lights. What 2026 doesn’t have a sunglasses holder? I actually didn’t like the all black interior as I feel like the type of leather shows everything really bad and is too grippy. You can’t just slide in. I also don’t really care for the screen everything as it shows fingerprints all the time. The passenger seat doesn’t have a remote adjustment.
Another thing that blew my mind is that it’s an XRT, which is considered an off-road model and it doesn’t even have a mud flaps that you can get for it. The limited model mud-flaps fit on the back, but there’s no mud flaps that will fit the front.
The one thing I do love about it is the body lines. It’s a very good looking vehicle. And I like the blackout front grill. I wish the rims were black since it is advertised as the blacked out version.
Wish I had kept my 2020 Santa Fe or got the 2026 Limited since they said they were the same price. I shouldn’t have rushed my purchase.
I am a loyal Hyundai purchaser and am just not happy this time around.
