Long-Time Minivan Driver Won Over by the Tucson!
I purchased the 2026 Tucson SEL FWD and absolutely LOVE IT! I have been driving Chrysler/Dodge minivans for 20+ years and never-ever thought I would drive anything else. I WAS WRONG!
I typically avoid buying foreign vehicles - no offense - because the interior setup/controls are backwards to me and I have always found that difficult to deal with. That being said, I must say that I am ABSOLUTLEY THRILLED to have given the Hyundai Tucson a test drive!
The moment I got in the vehicle I felt “right at home” because the interior setup/controls (ie. windshield wipers, turn signals, radio controls, cruise control, access-buttons, function-clusters) were in the familiar “American” format making it feel comfortable, efficient, and distraction-free. I never knew this about Hyundai!
The Tucson SEL FWD has all the beloved features that kept me driving American minivans for so long: reclinable backseats; spring-loaded back seats with lightweight side-access pull-levers for hassle-free fold down/up function AS WELL AS lightweight rear-access pull-levers; 6.5 feet of cargo space when rear seats are folded down; power lift gate with audible warning signal.
The vehicle purchase experience was one of the MOST EFFICIENT experiences that I have EVER had – total time about 3 hours! I pulled into the lot, went inside, was immediately greeted by a salesperson who listened to my preferences and budget base, was matched to a vehicle that best suited those needs, test drove it, explored color choices available, reviewed finance options, discussed add-on coverages available, then purchased the vehicle!
Overall, great vehicle, great features, great price, great factory warranties, great (no pressure) add-on coverage options available, great financing options, great customer service, and great service-center area.
