Unsure about long term power train quality?

It’s ok; however, after reviewing many online bloggers and auto experts I worry about its quality and will Hyundai and its network of dealerships honor its 10 year warranty without the hassles???

Love and hate

When I first bought my 2024 Hyundai Tucson, i loved it, it was the car I wanted.I did the research I got the color, trim, everything I wanted. Then, the 10k to 15k miles, it started shaking when I would push the brake.I contacted hyundai, where I bought the car and it was a little bit of a hassle to get the car in to get them to fix it without them saying it was wear and tear. In my opinion, it wasn't wear tear because the car only had less than 15k miles on it.And I had read tons of reviews and blogs about people having the same issue. Eventually, Hyundai did fix the rotors and by fix, I mean, they turned them instead of replacing them, and then again, 60k miles, I ended up just having to replace them myself, as the issue was happening again. I've had to take it in a few more times after that, they replaced the transmission and a part on the rear end, but lets not get into that. I truly love the car. I love the look. The safety features the screen. The leather seats everything on the car. It just hasnt been as good mechanically. I still think Hyundai makes the most beautiful cars that have the best safety systems and interior. I just wish I could get my car to last me more than 60k miles without having any issues. I did forget to mention that this was my third car that i've had with Hyundai.The last car I had started having issues at about 80k miles.

Great car for the price

Excellent car for the price. Ride nice and is very comfortable. Easy exit and entry. Lots of great standard equipment. Feels secure on the highway and back roads. No issues except the horn. Which was recalled and covered under warranty. I’d recommend for anyone including seniors.

A great car but a horrible dealer- one of the best vehicles

Let me start by saying that Hyundai helped me deal with Hyundai of Asheville as they covered up massive damage from 2 accidents. I got Asheville to pay me almost $4,000 towards repairs. This is a Tucson SEL convenience package, AWD, with a bit of an upgrade. The car handles and drives really well. The gas Engine power is OK but not great and is normally aspirated. Very comfortable. It does has cross traffic warning but no backup warning if there is a car or other stationary objects. The autosensing cruise control will keep you at a distance from the car you are following and will stop the car without touching the brake. I get about 26 mpg city, 31 mpg in somewhat rural, and 33 to 38 mpg highway. YES, I highly recommend this vehicle. Also, dealer stripped roof rack parts, spare tire, floor matts, etc

Decent vehicle with same odd electrical issues as my sonata

I have had 3 Hyundai vehicles and enjoyed each of them. However, all 3 have some of the same electrical quirks. First of all the lock system when you go to unlock the car when you want to get in the car, it seems to jam up periodically and I can’t get in a doesn’t unlock and I have to actually use the fob to unlock the lock all three cars did that then for some reason three triangle red warning lights will come on when nothing is wrong and the guy in service told me oh when it’s cold outside, it’s this and it’s not has nothing to do with the weather and they don’t seem to have an answer for that either nothing major but things that can be a pain .

Basic plastic materials used and somewhat underpowered engine for a 2.5 liter. Car has good safety features but for a $38,000 car in 2024 needs more power.

My Tucson

My third Tuscon. Always enjoyed each. Each made me feel that I got the best deal for the dollars spent. Fun to drive. Handles very well both on long journeys and around town.
