Very good overall, only a couple misses.

Overall a very good vehicle, great city efficiency with the plug-in miles. Highway mileage is just ok. Very comfortable seats and great included features. We also use the APP which works well. No quality issues so far, with 18,000 miles. Some minor issues. It has paddle shifters and sport mode, but no tachometer, the cupholders in the rear armrest are too small to fit most things and the wipers being tucked under the hood is a real pain in winter climate. Overall these are minor and we'd recommend the vehicle to others.

can’t believe how much electricity it takes to charge . my monthly

the ride is to stiff for me.it costs to much to charge. when the electric runs out the car is not smooth at switching gears

First time a huyndai owner

I like the vehicle as a hybrid suv. I am not thrilled with the plug in option becasue it doesnt provide enough range.

Meets need and expectations with some quirks

Perfect PHEV option, great vehicle size and capacity with comfort. The vehicle in-dash tech and Apple play are cumbersome, the back-up beep sound is loud and annoying

Multiple issues and it's been impossible to get support

In the less than a year that we've had the car, we've had multiple issues. Charging cable didn't work, acceleration was messed up, a couple of others. All minor but still not something I expect in year one. To make things even worse, service has been impossible to get. Appointments need to be booked two months in advance which doesn't really help me when I can't charge up the car because the cable is broken now.

Very happy with the Tucson Plug in Hybrid

The gas mileage is unbelievable and it has all the tech that I need. It is my favorite vehicle of all that I have owned/leased.

Rather have bought something else

It’s the type of care that you like at first, but the more you drive the more you dislike it. It’s underpowered. It beeps at everything. The tech is subpar. The visibility isn’t great. The charging is slow and ability for the driver to remain in EV mode and override the HEV is missing.

Great Car, Annoying Backup Sound

I'd love this car, but can't wait to turn it in at the end of my lease because the back up noice is so loud and annoying.

Nice car but has some quirks

Nice care with many luxury features. The Apply CarPlay works automatically when you plug into the UBS port, however, I am unable to set it up for wireless (without UBS connection). The USB ports are the old style USB-A and does not include a USB-C. The seats do not always go their assigned position (1 or 2), especially when using the remote climate start feature. The Owner's Manual index is lacking many key references to locate a specific feature and after 3 months we are still searching to learn all of the features. The EV charge connection is easy and able to monitor remotely. EV range is good for local travel and the Hybrid mode works good when EV is depleted. Very large sunroof and shade, but the controls are touchy to stop roof or shade movements. No arm rests attached to the front seats, must rely on center console or door arm rest. Could use another cup holder for the driver on the left side next to door. Could also use a 120v AC outlet. Very loud and annoying backup alarm (wakes up the neighborhood). The ground clearance is good and the driver sits higher than most SUVs of similar size.
