Not all itwas advertised

The plug in is great in city commutes where you can plug it in nightly..BUT...this vehicle is very poor on long highway trips the gas mileage is even close to the advertised 37mpg..l average 24-26 which is pretty poor for a 4 cylinder motor.

Solid build - great ride - nice features

If you are afraid to go fully electric, this is a wonderful first step. The PHEV allows you to drive in electric mode and experience what it would be like. This is a very good vehicle!

Not what I exy

Don’t pay extra for the plug-in feature. It’s not worth it. It costs over $4 to fully charge to 33 miles. It also gets around 30 miles per gallon of gas. Gas is less than $4 here. So the plug-in feature actually costs me more.

2024 Tuscon PHEV limited

I have about 27,000 miles and the car is 20 months old. The only repair I needed involved the cruise control switch which broke. The value of Bluelink is questionable as it never gets updated with past servicing. As a result the car keeps telling me I need servicing when I still have over 3000 miles till the next due date. Occasionally it also does not pick up the fact the car is charging.

Comfortable & Efficient

I'm very happy with my new 2024 Tuscon (bought in 2025). It's very comfortable for this 6' 2" guys with long legs. I'm really impressed with the mileage so far. This is my second Hyundai hybrid but my first Plug-In. Some of the interior features are a little wonky, which is why I can't give it a 5-star rating. But overall, I can recommend it.

Gas mileage

Car does not get good gas mileage. Even the plug in charge at full battery does not get anywhere near 33 miles as advertised. To charge battery up to 100% costs as much in electricity as a gallon of gas so no real benefit to the plug in feature.

Driving great technology very behind time

I really am enjoying the car except for the technology that is so behind times and not fully functional with iPhone which is annoying. I hope they fix this issue soon otherwise I’ll not by Hyundai again

An unexpected treat

Vehicle runs smoothly and the features makes me feel like I’ve gotten a luxury car at great price. I’ve had this vehicle for about three months and I have paid around 50 dollars in total in gas. It is great for saving money, especially when you have a short commute. There are issues with the doors unlocking when you grab the handle but it is seldom.

An exceptional combination of quality AND economy. This vehicle is FUN to drive. Has been driven 16000 miles and I am still waiting to find a feature that I do not like. I feel very safe in this car.

I love this car

I love the technology built into this car and that if I work the electric with all my local driving, I can often average 80 to 100 mpg. My goal was just to use less gas. I also like playing with the numbers and looking at my most recent trip and my averages and I like to chart each tank of gas and how many hours I spent in the car. These are all useful tools for me. I'm in my car lot taken care of various real estate in town.

Love my Tuscan Plug-in Hybrid

The car is solid and rides quiet. Traction is great with upstate New York winter weather. Seats are comfortable and heated seats work great. Plug-In Hybrid engine is perfect for daily short trips and great mileage on long trips .

Not enough electric power

I drive other plug-in hybrid. That car s gas engine doesn’t come on when in electric mode and battery is full. This car the gas engine comes on frequently even when drive mode is electric and battery is full

Not the SUV I had hoped for

The electric features aren’t convenient for me because it costs more charge and the fill up with gas and it takes 2 hours to charge when I don’t have an at home charging port to use. I feel like I over payed for this vehicle when I replaced my previous Hyundai for this vehicle.

Went Tuscon PHEV with some doubts - THRILLED after first month!

My wife is in LOVE with her new 2024 Tuscon PHEV AWD LTD. It took me most of a year of wrangling to get her to even CONSIDER letting me explore trading in her low mileage showroom perfect White 2019 Lexus NX 300 H luxury edition with rarest two tone interior, just to see if we could lower payment and maintenance/operating costs while updating some of the tech without giving up any features, comfort or cool factors. Within one day with her beautiful and striking deep marine blue Tuscon with light grey interior she had forgotten her Lexus! GO ME!!

Lot of features for the money

Lot of features for the money. Great styling and looks. I leased this SUV to replace a 2007 BMW 335xi that I was very fond of but it had 135,000 miles on it and was starting to need a little more TLC to keep it going so I researched several vehicles before settling on this one. I was skeptical about Hyundai but after driving this one and getting the end of the year deal/rebates found it too compelling to pass up. I have not had it very long (only 433 miles on it so far) but each time I take it out it continues to impress me with its performance and ride quality. Lots of bang for the buck.
