Power outage post software update

This is my 4th Hyundai. First time I had a bad experience. After a software update my vehicle was completely dead. Completely dark and the fob was unable to get a response form the vehicle. Absolutely no power. The fix - push the 12V Reset button. Here is the problem: luckily my car was in my garage with doors unlocked. If I were out on the road without the manual key attached to my fob (that is, using the digital key on my phone) I would not have been able to get into the vehicle. I am pretty sure calling Hyundai support would have been fruitless. I am worried about this and am considering a different vehicle.

Looks great, but disappointing so far...

I'm so grateful to have had a few Hyundai's in the past decade, so I was excited to make a bold move and lease a 2025 Tucson HEV with the Convenience package. My last Tucson (2023) was wonderful, virtually no issues at all and I was actually debating keeping it since it really was an excellent model. My expectations were high, but I haven't been unhappy yet - until about 3 months after receiving the vehicle, that it. The first (but not last) problem was the driving cameras. The vehicle's driving convenience features would take me out of my lane unexpectedly, turn off randomly and even just stop working mid-cruise. It was frustrating and anxiety-inducing, so I brought the vehicle in to the dealership for assistance. The dealership was unhelpful and lacked any customer service, but after 3 attempts and a new dealership, the problem was finally resolved. This issues took over 4 months to find, and it was a single camera malfunction. The next problem happened a few months later and still persists. Bluelink and my remote sporadically stop working. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the error, sometimes a reset fixes the issue, often time is does not. As a feature of my brand new vehicle, I would hope Hyundai can resolve these issues so I can go back to having a good driving experience. Overall, I was hoping for another great experience with a new Hyundai HEV, but it seems like the new Tucsons have traded some of their quality for quantity. There were so many great features that I added to my car because they were described as being helpful, yet the past year of having the 25 Tucson has been the largest auto-related headache I've ever experienced.

Surprise Suprise

After driving a 2009 Honda Odessy for 15 years it was time to buy a new car. I wanted something different so after much research, whittled down to Mazda, Kia, Toyota, and Honda. Nothing was wowing us until we went to Hyundai Santa Maria. We met Alessandro and told him what we were looking for. He walked us over to the Tucson. What a nice car we said. Took a drive and liked it. We’re amazed at the 10,000 mile or 10 year warranty. We decided to buy it but we had almost two weeks of thinking about it and wrangling over the price until we made the purchase.

New 2025 Tucson Limited Hybrid

Lots of bells and whistles and lots more tech components. Still getting used to them after 3 months. One morning all the lights were lit up on the dashboard. I called the set I eccentric told fog and cold weather sometimes could cause that. I still drove the car and eventually everything went back to normal

My Tuscon Limited

My Tuscon is a great car. I really like the camera views and sensors on it. I appreciate a paper manual and use it often. This is really helpful if it was just on line It may not be viewed in my area due to many dead cell signal areas in my state. I also like the 4 driving modes and use the snow mode often.

Great car just a few wishes

Only have 1000 miles on it, not sure we are getting advertised gas milage but it is winter… Cup holders could be a little bigger and no convenient place to put my sunglasses but I am nit picking there Fun to drive and I love all the tech.

Great car, terrible service and mileage

I love the car. I’m only getting 80% of the EPA estimated mileage for my hybrid. The dealer has been useless and dismissive. I’m currently undergoing lemon law evaluation.

Smooth, quiet, safe, comfortable

I traded my electric Ioniq six because some of my elderly passengers were having difficulty getting in and out of it. The Tucson fits the Bill for their comfort. And I am pleased because it drives like an electric car! Quiet, zippy, economical.

Great vehicle but gas mileage average hard to reach

The car is very comfortable but the average of 35 miles to the gallon is difficult to achieve. Especially on long trips on the interstate.
