Quite a surprise

First Hyundai, very pleasantly surprised by all the features and overall quality , previously had several Honda CRVs I think I got more for less money with the Hyundai, I was a little skeptical at first because I had heard stories but glad I made the choice so far at least

Great but can always improve

The tailgate auto open is not as good as my Pathfinder kick to open and close. Standing near it causes it to open unexpectedly. There is no way to auto close and needing to be locked to open is a bad deal when you come out of your house with your hands full. The dash lights and buttons should be brighter and larger. Everything else is great.

I overall love this care. It is very comfortable and functional. Love its clean/sleek appearance. There are only two things I really have issues with. 1. I was affected by the recall for this car, not overall a big deal 2. I despise the autobreaking feature. As someone who lives in a major city with quick paced traffic, this has actually created situations that were dangerous, either from slamming on the breaks inappropriately (I worry about this damaging the vehicle) or preventing me from being able to switch lanes. Another piece to this is the sensors in general. There should be an acknowledge button to disable things like the beeping when there are objects nearby (occurs sometimes in drive thru lanes, when waiting for a light, etc) as well able to breaking, particularly when trying to merge.

Liked the hybrid so much, we paid it off in first 30 days

We were looking for an SUV that would meet a wide variety of needs since we decided to downsize to 1 car. This car provides comfort, quiet, room, gas savings and excellent road travel features.

Hyundai Tucson Blue - Good Features, Poor Passenger Comfort

While the features in the vehicle are impressive, the ride is very uncomfortable for the passenger in the front seat.

Overall the vehicle has been great except for September 9, 2026. The car would not start when you press the start/stop button. The battery was too low. We had not drove it on the highway for over a week. I had to call the dealership to reset the 12 volt battery. Finally called Onstar that reset the battery so the car would start.

First new car purchase ever is a home run!

Love our tucson hybrid. Upgraded our car after arrival of our baby. Looks great, drives smooth. Lots of tech, pano sunroof, stores all our stuff for road trips. MPG is solid. Great value lots of bang for your buck.

Good SUV, some minor issues very poor dealer service

Overall SUV is good but some issues that still persist. The thumb print system does not work and gives error messages that could vehicle not to start. Transmission at low speeds does not shift smoothly and sometimes it feels you are getting rear-ended. Changing drivers through the system can sometimes take in excess of 30 seconds while other times it is almost instantaneous. Drivers door should open all the doors as the passenger front doors does. Really happens

Seats could be more comfortable. Ride is comfortable and nice. Lane keeping assist and cruise control work great. Drive controls on shift lever are cumbersome some times.

Want to like it but all the gadgets and electronics are becoming a has

The heads up display flickers on and off as you drive. Sometimes there and then gone. Somewhat times up with hitting a rough patch on the road but not always. Instrument panel where speed and rpm is displayed will also go blank while driving and reset 3 to 4 seconds later typically but most recently went over a mile at highway speeds with no display with a "no signal" warning popping up and eventually came back on. Along with that all of the warning lights will flash on for a second or two and then rurn back off. Original report of issues got a hard restart from dealership with no improvement. Then a software upgrade that was the recall answer to fix the answer. Maybe a slight improvement for 30 miles and then back to same inconsistency for both. Now they are going to try replacing a wire harness. Spending way more time at the dealership and swappping out cars than I should be for a 1 year old car. While not a vehichle issue, the first dealership provided service for oil change was done incorrectly where the oil filter was not tightened so the car was bleeding oil the minute I left the parking lot. Had engine warning lights and then low oil pressure lights come on and car went into limp mode to try to save engine and switched to electric power only which drained the lithium battery in a few 100 feet leaving me stranded on the side of highway. Car had to be towed back to dealership to deal with that aftermath. All of the issues mentioned above started after this maintenence issued occured. Makes me wonder if the stress of that situation with voltage, wattage and surges in power had bigger consequences than just potential engine damage.
