Great car. One huge electrical problem..

Overall, I love the car. Three months into my purchase, a part became defective that controls the left side of the dashboard which caused me to bring in the car for what turned out to be a two week repair. Fortunately, after two weeks without the car, the repair worked and I’m back to enjoying the vehicle

Great Car - Horrible Safety Automations

I really like this car. because it's non-plug hybrid it has plenty of pick up even in the most eco mode. the interior is well appointed and thought out (granted i'm not a huge fan of the rotary shifter on the column) and the large screen display is fantastic for car play. the basic sound system is great with no real reason to upgrade. cargo space is plentiful (only about an inch or so smaller then a Grand Cherokee) and i like that the seats can be folded down from the cargo area as well as from the side and then they lock into place when down. the reason i only gave it 3 stars is mainly for the automated safety mechanisms (auto braking in particular). the system is so sensitive that even at it's lowest setting you get anywhere near another car (and i mean like 10 feet away) and the car brakes so hard that the seatbelt will bruise your chest and your chances of getting rear ended skyrocket. and the best part is - you can't turn it off (well you can, but it automatically comes back on when you restart the car). for this reason alone, i would never buy/lease another hyundai. and before you ask, yes it is that bad and i am not exaggerating (i DO have the bruise on my chest to prove it). the other reason i dropped a star was for the paint. not only is it soft (and stains super easily), but (i assume) due to the fact that it was parked outside, it has iron oxidation on it - all over it (i noticed the first time i washed it about a week after i bought it and only had 65 miles on it). the SUV i owned previously i didn't have to clay bar after 40K miles. this BRAND NEW car needs to be clay barred already (1500 miles on it). i'll be very surprised if the paint lasts the lease life and even more surprised if i don't get rear-ended due to the auto brake. i won't buy/lease another hyundai until i can turn off the automations completely and i will not recommend this brand.

My best Car So Far

This car is simple amazing. I had a 2023 Tuscan SEL before my 2025 Tuscan hybrid,and I loved that car. But the hybrid SEL Convince feels like a upgrade in every way. I'm very impressed with the acceleration for a SUV. The leather seats and panorama sunroof make it feel a little more like luxury. And the best part is I feel like I never have to get gas. I'm so impressed with this car I will have a hybrid for the rest of my life.

My excellent Tucson

I’m getting used to my Tucson. I got the limited version and there’s a lot to learn, but I have down pretty good now. No problems with the car. There’s hills where I live so the cars averaging about 29 - 30 mpg not 35. The mileage goes up when I get on the freeway or on flat ground. I do wish that the mirrors folded in automatically.

CON'S -- Information center is not user friendly. Using media while using map causes map to turn black making it usless. - Navagation is not always correct. Andrioid auto does not always revert to cell phone. Cellphone does not always connect to car speakers. - The lights in the AC, defoger, etc., control area are too small and not bright enough to easily see. - Info screen defaults to home screen everytime car is restarted so one has to choose between sirius or others each time car is started. - - Milage is not close to avg milage posted on the window sticker. -- Road noise over 40mph makes conversing or listening to music poor. ---PRO'S, Car is comfortable and handles well. Overall: I will not lease this model again.

almost perfect

Had the car since June '25...about 4k mile. Headlights are not great...too low. They are also not wide enough. My wife's Bolt has a much wider view so that when you are turning a corner in an unlit neighborhood, you can see where youre going...can't see anything with Tucson. The "MY DRIVE" should be default...not ECO. Power folding side mirrors in 2025 are a must, get with the times. Incandescent bulbs...really? What's with the last century tech? Go all in, or all out...don't tease. There is no reason why the Tucson couldn't have just that little extra. I love the noise level...great job with dampening. Overall a very smooth ride (tires were upgraded). Rear seats should fold completely flat...almost isn't good enough.

The handling and performance is great. Although, just a little over 7000 miles and the whole console cluster had to be replaced because it went totally black, you could see nothing. The radio had to be replaced. I am hoping this will not be a future problem.
