Hyundai does not provide customer service as claimed

My brand new Hyundai (less than 8000 miles) broke down because at a bad rear wheel sensor. I was 400 miles from home and incurred expenses related to the breakdown. It took several weeks to repair the vehicle and Hyundai refused to reimburse me for reasonable transportation costs while the vehicle was being repaired. And my return to the dealership to retrieve my car.

A Fine Purchase

Having driven Toyotas for the last few decades, I was loathe to switch. I wanted to replace my 2014 Toyota Venza, which, while reliable and safe, was noisy, underpowered, had subpar handling and got subpar gas mileage. My online research suggested to me that the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid SUV checked all the boxes. After driving both a Toyota RAV 4 hybrid and the Tucson, it wasn’t even close. The Tucson outperformed it in just about every way. My only hesitation was reliability. I am happy to learn that Consumer Reports ranks the ‘23 Tucson Hybrid as having better than average reliability and lists it among those cars they would recommend buying both new and used. As a used car it is listed among the more reliable ones.

Basically great with a few glitches or missing features. That is all that I have to say so I will just fill this silly requirement with other thoughts. I like the height of the seat when getting in and out.

Roomy, comfortable, and quiet with sufficient power at good gas mileage. Has made over 40 mpg in town or in mountain driving. Mileage sometimes 30 or below on level at highway speeds. Highway mileage should be better.

Love Our Tucson Hybrid

Love that it is a non plug-in Hybrid. Just driving the car charges the battery. The car is very quiet and comfortable and easy to drive. When taking long trips, you arrive relaxed due to the smooth ride.

Car is comfortable, rides well, very stylish, and meets my needs. Has great safety features, plenty of storage room. Warranty is much better than my previous Car. Easy to drive and holds the road well.

Great vehicle

How America should be going, Hybrid. Vehicle rides well, very comfortable, plenty of power, rather good MPG, roomy interior (especially the rear seats), great design, adequate power, has all the whistles and bells you need.

Reliable, fun to drive and cost efficient

I replaced my BMW X3 with the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid and never looked back. So much more bang for your buck and my pocket book likes the 35 mpg average. It has great acceleration and is fun to drive. I love this car.

Love this car

Love this car. Fun to drive. Good safety qualities. Handles well in all weather conditions. Quiet when driving and good climate controls. Radio quality is good. The phone pairing could use some improvements.

I was told I was entitled too five hundred once I brought in my DD 214 I finally brought it in last fall I was told it was probably to late I was never given a deadline I feel I am entitled to that five hundred dillars

Couldn’t be happier

I switched from a Nissan Murano to my Hyundai Tucson and am very happy. My Murano was 2011 and the Tucson is a 2023. Except for a DVD player with a recordable option/memory bank, my Tucson has everything and more for about what I paid for my Murano.

Love my Tucson hybrid

Love everything about the vehicle, from styling, features and performance. Nothing negative to report. It handles well and has lots of high tech safety features that are very helpful. It makes you feel safe and secure when you're behind the wheel. The visibility is excellent.

My wife’s new car.

So far so good. We are enjoying the car and appreciate many of its features. The only thing that troubles us is it the gas mileage is not as advertised, both on the sticker and from consumer reports magazine.

Reliable and Stylish

Great car. Stylish and reliable. Many useful safety features. Handles well on on dry, wet, and snow covered roads. Smooth quiet ride in cabin. The backup alarm on the hybrid is loud and distracting. Be nice to have option to select the volume level. Storage space in hatch area could be larger to accommodate baggage for 4 adult passengers. Other than those two things. I’m very satisfied with the purchase. Very sharp looking car.

Build quality and depreciating quickly

The sound I get while driving on windy time is weird, it feels like the vehicle is low quality and the aero dynamics is not consider properly. The other concerning thing is Hyundai vehicle is depreciate on value quickly as well as there is no resale value on these vehicles

A reliable vehicle with many safety features.

No issues with the car. I like the integration with BlueLink and Bluetooth. Living in Minnesota, I appreciate the heated seats and steering wheel. The mileage is great with the Hybrid, yet without having to bother with plug-in.

Fun to drive

First Hyundai, really satisfied. Recommend to others based on overall quality. Warranty that gives peace of mind. Yet to see how good Hyundai honors the promises made with warranty. Looking for much bigger Santa Fe 2024 model to replace Tucson even though there are no complaints.
