nice looking, great hw milage, good warranty, good ride, poor seats,

good looking, great highway milage, good warranty, terrible seats, has good safety features. I do not like electric emergency brake. The cable dip stick is a joke and two different dealers agreed. The start-stop feature is annoying. As soon as I drove off the lot I discovered that my model omitted the lumbar support! Why? The low gas indicator is too low and short people can't see it because of the steering wheel: place it higher. Reliability is unknown at only 12,000 miles. my past two Hyundai cars were junk when turned 45,000. Oil consumption, oil leaks, one bad strut, and I was very diligent with maintenance. Overall, it is a mixed bag saved by the warranty. I hope you up the quality. I do appreciate my car and hope I have a better outcome with this one. Thanks for asking. P.S. Solve GDI issues by adding injectors to wash off the valves like Toyota did and you will take a big step forward.

Google Maps is not working

I recently brought my vehicle in for service due to an issue with Apple CarPlay not functioning properly. Specifically, Google Maps and Apple Maps do not display on the vehicle screen at all, making navigation unusable. The service department responded by directing me to Hyundai’s built-in navigation update website (mapnsoft.com), which is unrelated to my concern. My issue is not with Hyundai’s internal navigation system, but with Apple CarPlay itself. I have already taken all recommended troubleshooting steps on my end, including: Using a certified Apple cable Resetting CarPlay and iPhone settings Updating iOS and apps Testing with another iPhone The problem persists, which strongly indicates a vehicle-side issue (infotainment system, USB port, or software/firmware). Unfortunately, instead of diagnosing the actual problem, the response I received did not address the issue and shifted responsibility away from the dealership. I expect a proper inspection of the vehicle’s infotainment system and CarPlay functionality. This is a core feature of the vehicle and should work reliably. I hope Hyundai ensures that service departments provide accurate guidance and take ownership of diagnosing and resolving such issues.

Solid Car

This car is my first car I’ve ever purchased myself. The premium features for the price were unbelievable, I couldn’t pass on it. I’m upset with the recalls but most new cars have those nowadays. This car is perfect for the daily commute.

Sonata is great value and reliable

very pleased with my Hyundai Sonata. The only thing that annoys me is how low the front scoop is and it drags on may parking lot dividers and curbs. Must be very carful for this not to happen. Lack of a front camera is annoying and would help solve this problem.

No power on take off.

No power on take off. Ok too many gears 1st and 2nd sometimes rev to high like the transmission is slipping

Not what I expected and disappointed about what I got.

So I purchased this vehicle new from Hallmark in Ridgeland. When I purchased the car, they told me that it had a small amount of damage from when it was unloaded off of the delivery truck. They stated everything had been handled and that there were no issues with the car. The two moldings that come on each side of the hood up towards the fender keep coming loose and keep having to snap them back down every day as well as both moldings on each side of the windshield. I keep having to snap down each day so that they don’t fly off the vehicle. When you are trying to listen to anything from your phone, whether it be music or a podcast the Bluetooth connection cuts in and out, and there are periods of silence when you’re trying to listen to something. When you first take off, it feels like the car is gonna shutter and cut off as if it is not shifting correctly. If I had other means of transportation, I would drop the vehicle off to have it looked at, but unfortunately, I don’t have that access. This is my third Hyundai that I have purchased in the last 3 1/2 years, but I feel like this will be the last one that I purchased overall disappointed with the car and also disappointed in what I was charged for it versus what it is worth for the amount of miles that’s on the car. When I purchased the car, I was told it was the top end model. The MSRP was almost $40,000 and was having 21,000 miles on it. I was told that it’s worth approximately $20,000. I find it hard to believe that a car that MSRP is for 40,000 is worth only half with 20,000 miles on it on it. Kind of makes you scratch your head and realize that I was well overcharged for the part when I purchased it very disappointed in the whole situation. Also, it was supposed to have a maintenance plan with it but I was told after I purchased it that that plan did not exist since it sustained damage while it was being unloaded off the truck the only saving Grace in this whole ordeal was the sales person I dealt with who was Donnie Morefield. Donnie did an exceptional job and was super nice.

Overall Love This Car

This is our 4th Sonata Limited, so that says something. Hyundai has continued to improve and add features to the Sonata since our first one in 2011. I love all of the tech and the way the car drives and handles. Having said that there are some things that I would like to see changed. I have the custom drive mode changed to provide sport steering, but hate that it is not the default and have to select it every time I drive the car. The paint sucks! I have chips all over the front end especially the hood. Looking ahead I'm not sure that I will come back to Hyundai because to get the limited I would have to buy a hybrid. I love the combination of the 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and the 8 speed dual clutch transmission.

character is 50 , my overall concerns is the recalls,

The vehicle has great character 5 , my fear is the multiple recalls of the same thing since i had it in the 2 years, the issue was resolve once and now the same issue is back again its frighten me and its make wonder about is it worth me getting another vehicle or going to one your competitors, I know recalls happen but not this frequent and not with the same issue that suppose to be resolve.

Stylish Vehicle with Issues in Winter Conditions
