Great Car

I get a lot of compliments on the style of my Sonata. It has lots of bells & whistles with a purpose for efficiency & safety. Great gas mileage with a lot of pep under the hood. I love my Hyundai Sonata!

It was a great experience

2020 Sonata difference

This is my fourth Sonata. I have loved all others. However, I am not sure I will get another one when my lease is up. The 2020 Sonata rides very low to the ground. You feel like you are lower than all cars. It is difficult to get into and out of when if you are tall. The passenger seat does not get higher so if you are short, you will feel like you are riding in a hole. They took away the eyeglass holder so there is nowhere to store your sunglasses. However, it still performs well and the top edition has lots of bells and whistles which we love,

LOVE MY 2020 HYUNDAI SONATA LIMITED

I absolutely love the size and handling of this vehicle. I'm still struggling with the fact that it doesn't come with a spare tire and that the existing tires seem relatively small. The safety and general features of the Sonata are exceptional. This is my first Sonata and I've only driven it for a short time due to Covid. Once I really get her on the road, I can better assess her sleekness. If not for my concerns addressed below, especially with the color-absorbing leather seats, I would rate this vehicle as excellent.

Sonata surprise

We traded in our Genesis G70, only because of the lack of rear seat room. The Sonata has plenty. It would be interesting if Hyundai made a genesis that used the Sonata body and frame, to have that size available. Something between the G70 and G80. The Sonata fits that bill without the logo.

My Favorite Sonata I've owned!

I have now owned a 2007, 2011, and a 2020 Sonata. I have loved all 3 for different reasons but the 2020 is by far, my favorite. It is the sleekest and most attractive car, not to mention the functionality of the car combines the sexiness of the exterior, with the safety of the car itself. The seats are comfortable. The interior is set up extremely well. My sunroof is retractable. People at the grocery store, at my building, at work, all complement the 2020 Sonata - that it looks like a "spaceship" or an extremely expensive car. I have directed people to Sonata's for many years, for my personal track record with them, as well as my personal preference on their physical style.

20K Miles in and no issues...

I commute 60 miles roundtrip everyday... as well as drive all over the city. I have put 20k miles on this car in 13 months and haven't had a single issue. Moreover, the car still feels like new. I do wish the gearing for take off was lower to make starts a little quicker, but overall I really enjoy driving this car.

Car looks amazing and is awesome overall.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this vehicle. I purchased this car in late 2020 and it was the first new car that I ever bought. I needed to purchase a car for work that I would be driving 100 miles a day. 1 year into owning and I already have over 30,000 miles on the Sonata. The look of the car competes with that of some luxury on cars on the market while still maintaining an affordable price. The only issue that I ran into with this car had to do with the breaks. At about 20,000 miles in, I needed to get my brakes resurfaced because of uneven wear throughout the pads. This was the only issue that I had to remedy.

Great bang for your buck!

You’ll be hard pressed to find a better quality car in this price range. The fuel mileage is amazing, the car is very comfortable and sporty beyond belief. As a couple who drives/travels A lot, we highly recommend it!

The 2020 Hyundai Sonata SE

If your looking for a dependable automobile that is stylish with some enjoyable features, this is a car worth considering. The platform has a significant amount of safety features, some of which are a bit too much, but admirable. The 4 cylinder engine lacks pep and power, but is very good on gas mileage. I'm leasing it for 3 years and, after the first year, am undecided whether I'll keep it when the lease runs out.
