Great car, nice style and a lot of bang for your buck. Smooth drive, very quiet. Lots of leg room and lots of cargo space. Great safety features. The third Hyundai that I own and I am very pleased with this car.

Happy purchase

I was really pleased with the ride, gas mileage, and price of my Hyundai Hybrid Sonata. The comfort level has been amazing, as has the gas mileage. I was very surprised to see the exterior styling was very sleek and beautiful.

Lots of tech and features for price

I purchased the Limited Hybrid after reviewing many other cars. The appearance, features, and tech cannot be best for the price. Trust me I looked. This car has features only found on higher end luxury vehicles. The gas mileage is great and if driven conservatively easily gives 45MPG on the highway. The car feels great and is very comfortable. With the hybrid you do feel the engine jerking a bit when it flips between but is a small price to pay for the MPG savings.

Great car

Wanted a hybrid, got a hybrid. Comfortable, and I hope it's as reliable as my Azera was. Why is there a minimum on a review length? Said all I wanted. Almost makes me not want to answer this survey at all.

Great Experience to get a Great Car

Very impressed with the 2023 Sonata Hybrid Limited. Everything you could ask for, before going fully electric. Very comfortable, very easy to drive/ride. Awesome vehicle to have and would highly recommend. Sales staff at Ken Garff Hyundai helped portray Hyundai's quality. Very excited for many years with the vehicle and them!

Sales person professional, listened to me and didn't force the sale

Sonata hybrid has good gas mileage. Had the safety and comfort festures i was looking for and was within my budget. Had some weird quirks, such as changing the screen from one to another on different trips instead of keeping what was set on the prior trip. Sometimes turns on the fan or turned it off. Just first want to keep prior settings as they were set.

My Third Sonata

My 2023 Sonata Hybrid is getting over 50mpg at about 110 miles driven so far. It was excellent value for money and so far can find no quality issues or substitutions caused by the supply chain issues. No other hybrid this size comes close in fuel economy and it is packed with safety features. It took a long time to get and I even ordered and went to pick up a Camry Hybrid that was available sooner than Hyundai could provide. But during my test drive on purchase day I couldn’t get a clear focus on the HUD and the backup camera picture was abysmal. The Toyota dealer kindly returned my deposit. Bottom line: Buy a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid if you can find one and be patient.

Purchasing was the easy part

Car battery went dead. Called dealer, 4 hours on.off hold. Then disconnected. Call 800 number. No help (suggested I change batteries in both fobs). Finally called 800 road service. Described problem. Was here and fixed within an hour. Knew exactly the cause. Other than that car has been ok so far. OBTW No spare tire. You get a patch kit to fix it on the side of the road in the dark. I bought a rim and full sized tire and put it in the space they designed for it in the trunk.

Love my car

It was an unexpected find, and not was vehicle i was expecting to get, but my Sonata Hybrid was a happy discovery! I love the way it handles, and i love the milage it gets pet gallon, and i love the speakers.

What a great car!

I got a SEL Hybrid. Great looks, ride, performance and mileage. The tech it comes with standard is amazing. Have gotten lots of compliments. I can't say enough good things about Hyundai. To me, it rides like a luxury car.

Tired of warning messages dealer cannot fix.

I have been driving a 2023 for less than 2 months. I don’t want warning messages. If I get them, I want them fixed. I cannot earn a living from dealer lobby. Hyundai should have the ability to fix computer errors. It’s not an unreasonable expectation

Weird Assortment

We purchased Sonata Hybrid Blue. It is considered to be a baseline model, yet it has power everything…almost. I’d gladly trade the lane centering for a power front seat though! Here are 24 more characters to reach the stupid minimum of 200.

Economical Family Car with Good Handling and Safety Features

Hybrid BLUE and get better MPG than advertised. Plenty of power and handling for "family" driving, and the ride is more comfortable than expected. Downside is less usable room in trunk than expected. Warranty reassuring.

Poor Design

Design is poor. Engine section is too long. End of hood/bonnet is not visible - it is at least 2 feet longer than what is visible from the driver's seat. Navigation should be replaced with standard auto dimming rear view mirror. Wireless navigation is good, but requirement to have a wired connection to enable car play/android auto is stupid. Drive quality isn't great. Shock absorbers/struts/dampeners need to be better. You can feel the impact when you cross a speed bump or a very small pot hole. Electric to gas or vice versa shift isn't smooth. You can feel it as you are nearing a stop.

Great overall vehicle

There are so many things to love about our new Hyundai Sonata Hybrid: the great gas mileage, the safety features (favorites are the back up camera, lane change safety, steering safety) all with a quiet, comfortable ride. We also love that we can sync our phones (iOS and Android) with the video deck so our phones don't overheat in the hot sun while we're using the navigation system. It is such a nice looking updated car.
