Better than the Prius it replaced

OK it is 2 mpg less efficient than the Prius. But this medium sized sedan with a huge trunk, excellent acceleration unlike the 2014 Prius "dragging an anchor" take off, all safety features standard, and it didn't cost me $475 extra for red.

Great Vehicle for the price

Fuel economy is excellent in warm weather, and it's decent in cold winter weather. The average fuel economy in the summer has been 50 mpg. Had new tires installed and just an oil change using Amsoil Signature Series 0W-16 Synthetic Motor Oil, fuel economy is up to 55 mpg.

Great vehicle if the services and features matched the advertising.

Nice car very good on gas. Not at all happy with the dealer and the 36 month free service. Half the time they didn’t perform the service advertised. Constantly had to watch and double check. Not good for you as a manufacture

I love my Hyundai Sonata, my only complaint is the front right seat .

front passenger seat doesn't go up and down and it's very low.

The seats are terrible uncomfortable my 09 accent is more comfortable

As I said, the seats are terribly uncomfortable, my 09 accent Rage better and has More comfortable seats and Rides better you guys dropped the ball after 16 years almost and approving your ride you ruined it second-guessing if I never buy another Hyundai again

My Hybrid Experience

Been loving this car since I first got it, I've been driving it and easily have surpassed the manufacturer suggested MPG. Great commuter sedan.

Really good

Nice design interior and exterior. Great fuel economy. Comfortable seats, like heated seats and ventilated seats, although the manual should tell you exactly how to use them, and it doesn’t. Features on steering well helpful.

very good but

Hybrid engine is good. Good handling. The button shifter I don't know that I like, I feel like I will get into a crash backing out of a parking spot one day. I also think the dash needs a redesign. The sun glares really badly off all the chrome , I need to keep my hand up to block the glare, or wear sunglasses for daily driving.

Overall very happy with the car.

Positives: Handling and comfort are good. Gas mileage is good. Safety features are good. Negatives: Air conditioning strength seems a bit weak; doesn't keep up on hot days (say over 85 degrees F)

Great but no spare.

Great but no spare. Last week, tore the sidewall of my tire. No fix. Roadside service not available. No tools to remove tire. Left with an extremely difficult situation to resolve. Supply a spare in future vehicles to avoid such headaches.

Over the air computer update crashed, down for months&never ran right

Brought vehicle in for 1st oil change & service tech did an over the air vehicle computer update. Computer crashed & my vehicle was not operational for months. Hyundai needs take back under lemon law.

What a Nice Car!

First time in a hybrid. Love getting 52 miles per gallon and amazingly quiet ride. Had the vehicle for just over a year and has been virtually maintenance free. Particularly like the diagnostics and warning alert options available through the screen as well as the on-line vehicle health updates.

Too many issues for a new hybrid car!!

After less than 2 years heater would start blowing cool air - winter time! Dealer replaced a whole section after having my car for over a week so that issue is resolved. Still another issue is that sometimes my door lock controls do not work which in an emergency situation could prove deadly.

Great car, great price

This car has every feature I wanted from the panoramic moonroof to 4 direction cameras. It’s a great value. Very good gas mileage but some lag in the start and sometimes with acceleration. I would buy it again.

A great vehicle. I have driven it between FL and VA many times.

This hybrid has really been given a workout. I have driven it between Leesburg, FL and Fairfax, VA many times. The gas mileage is great for these long drives. I have found the layout of the dashboard is very useful. I especially like the Heads Up Display on the windshield. That makes it possible to have the most essential information right in front of you without taking your eyes off the road. The seats are very comfortable even for an all day drive. I fill up with gas before leaving and only have to fill up once over the 868 mile drive. I use cruise control for as much of the drive as possible because the cruise control will slow the vehicle down if you come up on someone driving slower. The cruise control is so good it will even stop you if the car in front of you slows down and even stops.

Sonata 2023 hybrid is excellent

Overall the vehicle drives, rides and handles very well. Interior is very nice, more storage would be appreciated inside. Paint in front of car is very thin and chips are appearing than non of my other vehicles have had.

Great car but some cosmetic issues

Car has been strong, drove it when I moved to the mid west and brought it back to the west Coast with no issues. For cosmetic problems, the under carriage broke within a year and half and has to be replaced but overall have had a good experience with the vehicle.

I love this car!

My Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is both incredibly reliable and great looking too. It's a smooth ride that saves on gas and has all the bells and whistles I could want. It's a wonderfully disguised muscle car!

My Sonata Hybrid is Great!

We have always been a Toyota family. However, due to the supply issues from a few years ago, I was not able to get another Toyota. Someone suggested I look into Hyundai as an alternative. The Hyundai dealer had the vehicle I wanted on the lot, and we agreed on a great price. I have been very happy with my Sonata Hybrid!
