A great vehicle. I have driven it between FL and VA many times.

This hybrid has really been given a workout. I have driven it between Leesburg, FL and Fairfax, VA many times. The gas mileage is great for these long drives. I have found the layout of the dashboard is very useful. I especially like the Heads Up Display on the windshield. That makes it possible to have the most essential information right in front of you without taking your eyes off the road. The seats are very comfortable even for an all day drive. I fill up with gas before leaving and only have to fill up once over the 868 mile drive. I use cruise control for as much of the drive as possible because the cruise control will slow the vehicle down if you come up on someone driving slower. The cruise control is so good it will even stop you if the car in front of you slows down and even stops.

Sonata 2023 hybrid is excellent

Overall the vehicle drives, rides and handles very well. Interior is very nice, more storage would be appreciated inside. Paint in front of car is very thin and chips are appearing than non of my other vehicles have had.

Great car but some cosmetic issues

Car has been strong, drove it when I moved to the mid west and brought it back to the west Coast with no issues. For cosmetic problems, the under carriage broke within a year and half and has to be replaced but overall have had a good experience with the vehicle.

I love this car!

My Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is both incredibly reliable and great looking too. It's a smooth ride that saves on gas and has all the bells and whistles I could want. It's a wonderfully disguised muscle car!

My Sonata Hybrid is Great!

We have always been a Toyota family. However, due to the supply issues from a few years ago, I was not able to get another Toyota. Someone suggested I look into Hyundai as an alternative. The Hyundai dealer had the vehicle I wanted on the lot, and we agreed on a great price. I have been very happy with my Sonata Hybrid!

Disappointed that the Limited is missing features

The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited would be a awesome car for me if Hyundai had just gone a step farther, like having a lighted glove box, full power passenger seat, power closing trunk lid, walk away door locks, heated rear seats, and a spare tire. For the extra one pays for the Limited, these things should be included. The car is a bit under powered and the suspension is a bit to stiff. I do like the adaptive cruise and thee large trunk. the window shades on the rear door windows are a nice touch. In the first year I have owned the Sonata I have had good service except for one visit to the shop with a rear brake caliper issue. It took the shop a week to repair it!

Disappointed that the limited is missing several features.

For the extra price of the limited, I would have expected full power passenger seats, lighted glove box, powered open and closed trunk, heated rear seats, and walk away door locks. The engine needs to be turbo charged and the hybrid need a larger battery, or even a plug-in hybrid. Except for a poor experience with a dealer repair, the vehicle has given me good service for the first 12k miles. It is a bit under powered and the suspension is a bit to stiff.

Sonata Limited Hybrid

Love the car. Great gas mileage with the hybrid. There is nothing negative that I can say about this car. The air conditioned seats are the best. So enjoyable in the heat. The heated steering wheel is the best in the cooler weather

I have driven Sonata Hybrid limiteds for over 12 years.

These cars are comparable to any luxury car available. Their main focus is on the driving experience. They offer comfort, style and dependability. The list price is reasonable making the value apparent.

Poor performance

After owning a 100% problem free 2013 Hyundai Sonata hybrid, I purchased a 2023 Sonata hybrid that was in the shop within a week. The car then was back and forth in the shop for some kind of repair for over 70 nights in a 10 moth period. Neither the dealership nor the corporate group ever offer to do anything to help. On the last problem, when a part just fell off the car while I was out of town, I just sold it and bought a different model from a different dealer. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM AT ALL WITH IT!

My 23 Sonata Hybrid

Overall the car is nice. I have had a lot of compliments regarding the styling. The car has, as far as I know, every tech accessory on it that's available. That being said, many of them I don't use either because it's difficult when driving or the car simply won't let you use them while driving. The car performs well and the mpg is acceptable. I have not noticed any problems with the fit or finish other than with the weather tech type floormats. I can't secure the driver's mat. The owners manual says with the hybrid there is a lag when accelerating which having had a turbo previously is reminiscent to turbo lag and that is my biggest beef. I have only had the car for 13 and a half months (9659 miles), so a long term review cannot be given.

Surprisingly great value

I explored the Hyundai sonata hybrid, because of the features it had and the sticker price. Compared to my car it had more features and at a sharply reduced sticker price and longer warranty. It also had the 3 year maintenance package. A good choice, so far.

Great vehicle

Elegant and reliable car. Is has excellent security systems. There are, however, some issues with electronic features and difficult to update the system. The hybrid version is low on gas consuming, yet powerful.

We have a 2023 hybrid sonata...6500 miles today and never had an oil change. Told to wait to 7500 miles but we are retired, travel w/truck and camper, had illnesses and want to be sure all okay as lower milage than normal.

Good looking vehicle. Reliable great fuel economy.. very comfortable

There’s not a better automobile out there for under $65,000. The vehicle has an excellent appearance. The Sonata gets 45 miles a gallon.. excellent Soundsystem. every safety feature.. wide spot assist, advanced cruise control. Automobile has great visibility.

Quiet, Fast, smooth, 50mpg average

I bought this car exclusively to use for Uber everybody that gets in it comments on it how smooth and how spacious it is I now have almost 60,000 miles and it has ran flawlessly. Very happy with his car.

Great car with great features! Drives exceptionally. Pure enjoyment! Enjoying this car greatly!!! My wife has a Mercedes and it's very nice but my car is equally as nice for a lot less money. My Sonata is extremely comfortable and relaxing. Getting ready to drive with it from Greensburg, Pennsylvania to Florida tomorrow.

The car gets fuel mileage, and the safety features are very good.

The cars drive very well and the safety features are very good and we get good mileage with the car. On long trips, I enjoy the controls to keep your car in the center of the road. And the best thing about it it has a lot of safety features on it to keep you from hitting pedestrians are backing into somebody or crashing ahead.

Dependable, feature filled Hybrid with very good mileage

This is my second Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and I only traded the first in due to mileage / warranty near expiration. The vehicle is dependable and provides a comfortable and economic drive. I use it for long drives and I find it the perfect blend of gas and electric use.

Disappointed

This is my second Hyundai sonata hybrid. I traded a 2021 sonata.hybrid for a 2023. I loved my 2021 but the Hyundai Sonata 2023 has a mind of its own. It’s constantly changing my dashboard setting and my dashboard lights. Brought it to the dealership and they said it was normal because they could not find what the problem was.Hmmm. Acceleration seems to be a problem as well. Sounds like it has a hard time shifting gears. Gas mileage is definitely not what I got with my 2021 Hyundai Sonata. Hybrid. Now I understand why their warranty is so extensive compared to other dealerships.
