Good for a basic entry to hybrid

The positive- great gas mileage. Info system is nice. Negative - no rear cup holders, engine has had issues with coolant required a 6 week wait for parts.

Like the car overall. Wish it would have had driver's seat memory. Also front passenger seat sits way to low for comfort. Engine performance is great.

Nice car, great mileage!

Love the car but there is a few thinks that I would change if I knew. Door locks don't always work Passenger seat does not go up or down which I thought was standard on all cars. It is a nice ride, great gas mileage, and just a nice looking car.

Best Hyundai I have owned so far

This car does everything. Living in Arizona and having a car that starts without you in it is awesome. I love that it cools down the car before I get in it. I also love the self parking when in a tight spot. I have had zero problems with this car and would highly recommend it. What can I say? I think it is perfect

This is our 2nd Sonata Hybrid and we love it.

Excellent vehicle for the money. Confortable and roomy for 6 ft. + front seat passengers. Navigational Cruise Control needs more operator control and options and air flow direction vents are poorly designed.Thk

Great sedan. Very comfortable with exceptional mileage.

The Sonata Hybrid is great. I drove a different hybrid previously so know how to maximize fuel economy. A lot of coasting to stops, planned, gentle braking and gentle acceleration are key. Display makes it easy to see hard hard you are pushing the gas engine or draining the battery. The ride is surprisingly comfortable. A friend that drivers new Bmers likes my ride better. He says mine is quieter. The car has plenty of acceleration to get on the interstate with its 80mph speed limit. The battery assist with hard acceleration is key to this. Can't speak to the gas only model. The controls are intuitive. There are a lot of them, but I was in no hurry to try to learn everything, all at once. Just like my other hybrid, I get the best mileage in spring and fall. Summer is ok and winter is much lower, probably because of reduced battery performance. The winter driving is not great until the roads are plowed. If you don't have snow and ice, it would be great. The ABS and traction control just don't make up for the poor traction of the supposedly "All Season" tires. I hope they come out with an AWD model. The intelligent driving assistance is great. Lane keep, blind spot vehicles lane change warning, front distance hold when using cruise, accident avoidance all are amazing. Mine has the full sky light window. Nice when it's not to hot or cold. I did have an issue with the oil plug loosening but the dealer took care of it. I put 5 for "Fun to drive" because driving is a fun activity for me, more of a chore. It's not burdensome with this vehichle...

This is my second Sonata Hybrid. *The* best car ever.

An excellent car. Great mileage. Love the fact that I don't have to gas up every week or even every 2 weeks. It's a quiet ride. A stylish, comfortable ride. I feel safe driving this car, too. Loaded with extras that merely make the car an excellent value for the money.

Could be above average if not plagued by an electrical problem

Best thing about this car is the mileage. The worst problem has been an electrical problem that randomly resets the mileage screens, turns the climate control to off and sets the dash lighting to level 2. So far the instrument panel, the head unit and a circuit board have been replaced by the dealer. The problem continues. I was told that a software update would fix the problem. Two software updates later and the same problem exists. I was told that the dealer was contacting Hyundai corporate about this problem, but I have not received any feedback from Hyundai. I have been without my car three times while the dealer worked on the issue. It's been over one year and I think I've finally lost my patience.
