Good mileage but lot of wind noise

Good average with hybrid model. Lit of annoying wind noise while driving above 50mph. Makes it hard to listen to radio or other people in car. Very difficult to use wireless charger. Any slight movement and it disconnects

I find myself saying “I love this car” while driving it!

Absolutely love this car! The speakers are incredible. The driving experience is smooth, quiet, and luxurious. The acceleration can occasionally have an unpleasant “kick,” but the shifts in the transmission are infinitely smoother than my Honda’s were. The only quibble I have with the interior is that the headroom is a bit lacking. Aside from that, the interior is spacious, beautiful, and efficient. The seats are comfortable, the features have everything you could possibly need, and aside from a bit of lag on the touchscreen/navigation, the smart-side of the car is lovely and advanced. Let’s talk about the trunk — oh my goodness, the trunk. Once you find how to open it with the clever hidden button, it’s INCREDIBLY spacious. I’m so impressed with the efficiency of the design of this car as well as the comfort. I feel that it will not only last me 10 years but that I won’t be tired of it when the 10 years have gone by. Highly recommend!

lacks some necessities

The base sel does not have garage door opener, no heated steering wheel, the seats are not overly comfortable for long trips - I drive an hour one way and find myself adjusting five or six times whole body, no auto review mirror dimming, just lacks the little things to make it that special vehicle. The gas mileage is getting better each week, but was concerned at first.

A High Quality Car

The performance, build quality and gas mileage are exceptional. Many of the features are unique. The car is complex, BUT the Car Manuals need a lot of work to reduce their quantity and to improve their INDICES for English Language speakers. (I say this as a former corporate Manual Writer / Editor for 6 years.)

-the car twitches at low speed, the gearshift and clutch do not work smoothly, palpable jolts. If I drive a car with three pedals, I would not make such pushes. -board pc resets by itself, time to time. I changed Temperature to Celsius and it's switching back to F. The MPG numbers also resetting. So sometime PC resets by utself. -no lumbar support for the passenger - but this is Sonata Limited Edition, it should be there. My wife doesn't like to be a passenger because of that, and we cannot drive long distance together because of that little thing -passenger cannot start navigation to new destination when I drive. We don't want to use voice but screen touch, and Navigator said - you cannot do that while driving -Everything else - perfect!

very good experience

great buying experience and driving experience. Smooth ride. No problems at all. Mileage has been good. driving in snow weather has been good. Vehicle style is very nice and interior comfortable. would buy it again.

Love the ride, comfort, position, technology, visibility, automatic transmission, appearance, ease of operation, the controls are well designed and positioned. With minor technical fixes would be an excellent vehicle.

Love this car!

I have driven Hyundai's since 1999, and have loved them. In 2021 I strayed to a Japanese brand. Long story short, had reliability issues and have returned to Hyundai. I am so happy i did. Great car, very smooth and quiet. I was nervous that the Hybrid may not have enough power or would be slow. Not the case at all. I love that I am averaging between 46 -52 MPG without even trying. So happy to be back in the Hyundai family.

I liked the experience, but no negotiations on price!

We were looking for a hybrid car that would fit our lifestyle. The Hyundai Sonata Limited Hybrid fits our needs exactly.. It is stylish, comfortable, responsive and has a great ride. My wife and I are on the short side and the Sonata adjusts to our "frames". Love the outstanding safety features: surround camera views, blind spot warnings, highway driver assist and smart cruise control. If I have any "concerns" it is with the complexity of navigating the touch screen for information...and no place to put sunglasses for easy access.

Check engine light at 146 miles on odometer

2023 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. On day 3 of owning, warnings and check engine. 19 days in service and it went 3 miles before another check engine. Hyundai agreed to repurchase the vehicle on 22DEC22. It is now 08FEB23 and Hyundai NEVER followed through.

Its a good car, enough room for 5 people. it does have few issues which can fixed. Hybrid systems is ok. But not better than toyota. I wish it can show true mpg. Driving is comforting but need more ground space. I believe extra 4 more will be better

2023 Hyundai Sonata Pretty Good, Few downsides

The 2023 Hyundai Sonata is pretty great. It had good fuel mileage which is needed for me since I drive 40 miles to work then 40 miles back home. There is not any wifi hotspot however although it is a 2023.

I researched all hybrids in this price range. The 2023 Sonata Hybrid SEL has the best quality, features, warranty and price for me.

I love this car. It has a really nice interior, nice ride, not a lot of outside noise, and lots of great safety and other features (Bluetooth, adaptive cruise control, heated and cooled seats, lumbar support, a navigation system, rear view camera, etc.) And a Bose sound system!! And the gas mileage! I get at least 500 miles with every fill-up!! However, I don't love the low front passenger seat which can't be adjusted up or down (need a pillow or short passengers get motion sickness), trunk is a little small but it's adequate. Overall this car at this price is hard to beat! I plan to keep this car between 15 and 20 years. I bought the extra 120,000 mile 10 year warranty based on my driving habits and I got an extended tire warranty. All in, I spent about $40,000 including taxes and title. Totally worth it!

this is the first Hyundai we have purchased. a wonderful car. so comfortable and great fuel mileage.

The 2023 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is a GREAT car. the mileage is an average of 40 mph. the car is a mid-size car and very comfortable. I have nothing to say bad about this car. It exceeds my expectations with all the different gadgets and safety features on it.

Warranty repair - integrated thermal module broke within 3000 miles

I purchased my 2023 Sonata Hybrid Blue new at a Hyundai dealership. Within 2800 miles of usage (less than three months as I had to travel for a family emergency), the check engine light turned on. I took my vehicle to the nearest dealership on 12/5/2022, where they informed me that the integrated thermal module was malfunctioning and as the part was not in stock they'd need to keep my car with them for a couple days. The part originally had an ETA of 12/7/2022, but I didn't hear from the dealership until 12/9/2022 when I called them asking for an update. At that point they informed me the part was backordered, with a new ETA of 12/21/2022. I then realized I'd need a loaner vehicle, and attempted to text / call the dealership multiple times without a response for several days. When they finally reached out a week later offering a loaner, I was planning to leave town for the holidays in a few days. I left on 12/18 but checked back via text and phone call on 12/21 and 12/23 since their last update had given an ETA of 12/21. They did not answer any of my texts or return my calls, so I had to involve Hyundai Corporate who assigned me a case manager. When I finally got ahold of the dealership on 1/3/2023, they stated that the part was backordered with no ETA. My case manager explained that this meant the part wasn't available in any nearby warehouses, and the dealership confirmed that it can take weeks to months for a part to come in. Bottom line: I find it utterly ridiculous for a vehicle to be breaking down within three months of purchase -- and beyond that, the part has been out of stock for over a month and counting on a 2023 model, when this car is obviously still being manufactured and sold. Not to mention the dealership has been a pain to work with. Would not recommend, though the car itself was nice enough.
