Santa fe Se AWD

Transmission had a cylinder misfire too early. Life gate kept opening and close by it self while in park and driving Jerking while accelerating Infotainment screen goes blank and turn green. Transmission error causing vehicle to searching for gear while driving Too many recalls and most of my experience problems the dealership can never replicate because it never register into the computer system software. I was one of the first set of people to buy this vehicle when It came out and that the mistake I make because it looks like if I bought the trial ones. Wish if hyundai can do a full buy back from me so I can put the rest of money and switch to the palisade instead look like those are more reliable. Feel like I got stuck with a lemon car here for now steady visit to the dealership.

Windshield issues

I’m sitting at Safelight right now waiting on my vehicle due to a crack that I caught on time. I purchased this vehicle in 2024 and I have already had to replace the windshield twice. Same crack that started at right lower point and spread over to driver side both times within a few hours, vehicle not even moving. Extremely disappointed and over it at this point!!!!!! Would not recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Options

The Santa Fe has many options, but the one option that is reserved for Genesis and should be part of the limited and calligraphy trim is the power tilt, and zoom steering wheel. It has so many options that are part of a more upscale vehicle that it just makes sense to add the tilt/power steering wheel

Good with Issues

Good overall. But there has been issues with tires bubbles (perelli), rotors - right off the lot, frozen back windshield reservoir, etc.

It’s a lemon

Besides defective tires which they won’t replace, 3 dead batteries from the radio unit which is still defective, annoying driver assistance warnings, and ongoing vibration, and very poor customer service from the selling dealer and Hyundai corporate, I love everything else about this S 2024 Santa fe

2nd Santa Fe

Our 2nd Santa Fe purchased new. First was a 12' also purchased new with 3.5L V-6. Was concerned with the idea of a 2.5L Turbo until I drove it. the 24 is a much smooter ride with 12 years of technical innovations. After driving one, only complaint is having not bought the hy-bred.

Comfortable & easy to drive but has some issues.

The Santa Fe has very comfortable seats and easy to drive. The turning radius is excellent however the road noise is higher than I would prefer. Maybe better tires will make a difference. The 4 cylinder seems to struggle at times. Today the blinker ticking, radio and any sound interior noise that the vehicle normally makes has stopped. Have an appointment with dealer tomorrow so hopefully that issue will be taken care of.
