Love my Santa Fe

I got people coming up to me all the time complimenting me on how much they like my car. I really have liked my car. It is comfortable and fun to drive. Gas mileage is average for size. 3rd row size is fair. Only thing I don’t like is you can’t close the trunk from inside the car. It was expensive. I did go from a turbo and this is not, so not as much pep as I had before, so took some getting used to. I love the color and get compliments on it all the time.

Not a great vehicle.

This might be the worst vehicle I have purchased since the 80's.

Love the Car, Regret the Color

While I absolutely love all of the safety features, I wish that when I had chosen the matte brown someone had explained it can only be hand washed. They told me AFTER handing me the keys. It scratches very easily and it's so frustrating that I have a bunch of little scratches and only one of them are from something I did. Everything else just appeared after being parked somewhere. I wish I had got anything except the matte. My only other issue is the doors don't unlock/lock fast enough. I hope I am never being chased because my car usually doesn't let me in until I try 4 or 5 times.

Too many issues

Its a large car which I really like. Very comfortable. Too many safety features with bells and whistles going off all the time. Too many issues with this model. Already had to have the viscous coupler replaced, multiple updates, multiple recalls. Very disappointed in this car. Wish I could get out of this lease now.

Review of 24 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy

Love to drive the turbo charged 2.5 Liter. Plenty of power and reasonable fuel economy. It is a great car for long trips, the seats are very comfortable and the car is quite at highway speeds. The application of power from a dead stop is my only complaint. It is somewhat difficult to assure a smooth application of power from a stop to highway speeds.

overly sensitive sensors

When it snows, the vehicle proximity sensors are always on, and you have to keep wiping them off by hand quite often to stop the car from making noise. I didn't like that at all. The interior seems to be made of poor quality plastic; even my 2-year-old son punctured it with a pencil. If your tires aren't at 38 psi, the low air sensors will light up, and in winter it's very common for that to happen every day. So you have to put in 40 psi so you don't have to add air every day. I really didn't like that; that doesn't happen with Toyota.

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is a joke

Like I said there are many cons to this car. All the sensors and a lot of them go out, the transmission doesn't work properly, especially going up steep hills, the steering wheel grabs from my hand. Even though I don't have the sensor on that says to keep me within the lines. The car has a mind of its own. When I take it to have it looked at or serviced they can't seem to find the issues. Even though I tell them exactly what is going on. Something is very wrong with the transmission. Something is very wrong with the sensors. Cameras don't always work correctly in my mind. Nobody should buy this car if the dangerous car to drive and to own.
