Overall I have enjoyed this vehicle. We are on the road a lot and has been comfortable and it gets great gas mileage both in town and on the highway.

Comfortable and Reliable

The new Hyundai santa fe is a very well appointed vehicle with fantastic technology that is integrated i to the vehicle seamlessly. We have been on a number of long road trips in the 1st year of ownership and adaptive cruise control has been a great friend. It is intuitive and very easy to use and allows me to rest my legs which can cramp up on long journeys. The vehicle has plenty of room for luggage especially with the seats down. The gas tank is however, irritatingly small for such a large 3 row vehicle and needs more frequent gas stops than my previous dodge durango. Android auto is also quite glitch and the systems can lose Bluetooth connectivity overnight and require frequent reconnection of devices on entry. These are fairly minor and have not spoilt my enjoyment of the vehicle but are the reason for 4 out of 5 overall.

Love My Santa Fe

I have sold Hyundais a very long time. When it was time to get a car even though I sell hyundais I did my due dilligence. I researched and looked at5 or 6 other brands. I needed a 3rd row and for the 1st time ever I wanted all the bells and whistles. Price and safety were important thou. At the end of the day nothing beat the Santa Fe Calligraphy. The features and comfort you got for the price was unmatched. My family loves the car.

A car that has features but is unusable

The car I am currently using supports keyless entry using a mobile phone or NFC card. However, when I register my mobile phone to use this function, the car battery is dead, so I can't start it or open the doors. Another problem is that before the car warms up, the dual clutch transmission shakes and doesn't shift at the right time. There is no perfect car, but this car has problems in the most critical part.

Drives good body is sort big for a v4 engine

Over all v4 is not the way to go should not be in the inventory should take another look at that.

A lot to like, some things to address

I was first attracted by the style and the technology of the Santa Fe. The interior is excellent, and I really like the look of the exterior. Lots of thoughtful touches (H) shaped headlines, for example. Sometimes the technology is a bit quirkly. It took a month and some system refreshes to be able to link my app to the car, as evidenced by the fact I couldn't upload a profile photo. And CS was useless on that front. Also, some of the systems aren't intuitive in the settings. Thank goodness for YouTube videos....which exist because other owners are having similar issues. I bought my first 24 in July last year, and it was totalled by a drunk driver in January. I liked it enough to buy the car again in February, so I guess that says something.

Dealership did fraud and I’m stuck with aftermarket nightmare.

The steering wheel lights already went out. For a calligraphy that should have embedded tint windows. The cheap tint the dealership put on is already peeling. The camera on the rear view is overheating. Yet, this is a CALLIGRAPHY. My 2005 Chevy cavalier was better.

Loved my 2022 Tucson more

The dealership left out important features of this car, lied about what features it did have, rushed me to make the sale because it was close to closing time. Couldn’t even drive it the first day i had it because they had to do an update which left me without a vehicle to get to work as they wouldn’t give me a loaner. first time driving it to work and service lights came on. Tried to get them to honor the 3 day guarantee and was told i was being dramatic about the car.
