Never again shall I purchase a Hyundai. Worst quality ever

This was advertised as a pet friendly, off the road vehicle per commercial adds on television. Within weeks the seats were damaged from my dogs paws. Seats made with very cheap material. Took this to dealer and was told “well if I purchased a new vehicle I would never let my pets ride in it”. That’s the only response I received. I also informed the dealer that I would warn others that would consider a purchase. I was basically laughed off. Long story said I sold this Hyundai in less than a years time. Then purchased a new Ford. Lost money. At the age of 66 and have owned several different vehicles in my lifetime I do know now that I would never purchase any Hyundai again nor will I ever deal with any Mathew’s dealerships again.

2024 Santa Fe

Transmission replaced at 5,000 miles. It was 2 quarts low of fluid from the factory. Other than that, it has been a pretty good car.

Room for everyone and everything!

One of the reasons that I chose this vehicle was for the space especially in the trunk area. I also like the large screen display and all of my passengers do also! What elderly love is that it's not as high up as most SUVs and is much easier to get in and out of. While it does not handle as well since it's two wheel drive, it is a great value and I get good gas mileage for the size. The worst thing about the vehicle is the dumb EPA regulations because the air conditioning turns off at every stop sign or stop light. Then you have to press the auto off button every time you get in the vehicle to turn it off. In my opinion that's a complete safety hazard as well because the engine shuts off and takes a couple seconds to start up when you press the gas and if you have to get through an intersection quickly or get onto a main road you may not be able to get up to speed. I've had close calls with this and never had any issues with my subaru.

Luxury made affordable

The ride of the Santa Fe is surprisingly smooth and whether you are seating in the drivers side or the second row you will have plenty of room to relax. We have several family members that are over 6'3" and they have never complained sitting in the second row. I love the fact that the second row adjusts so that if the third row is used those passengers have more leg room. The head room is sufficient and all around makes for a very comfortable ride. The cup holders are over sized and there's plenty of spaces for storage. The stereo is not listed as high end but you would never know. The sound is comparable to the over priced sound systems in other car brands. The car will almost drive itself. Every safety feature to give you the confidence to travel with your family. In all, the Santa Fe is SUV amazing.
