Don’t waste your money

I went through three batteries within one year with this car. Please avoid the brand and never purchase this vehicle

Great start but needs refining

I love some of the features in my Santa Fe. I love the heated seats the heated steering wheel. I love the console. It looks really nice. Some of the things that are frustrating. Is the digital key lags so sometimes you’re just sitting out there trying to get your car to open and it won’t open for you another thing that is really upsetting is the turbo lag the turbo lag is very noticeable in this vehicle. I also had some problems with parasitic drain on my battery, which they never figured out.

Great for comfort, mechanics are squirrelly

I love the look and interior of this car. I’m really tall and it’s super comfortable with all the amenities we love. I’m just not sure I love the transmission. It has a little whine at low revs, and with 11k miles, feels like it idles a little rough and isn’t as responsive off the line as I’d like. Asking the dealer to take a look at it.

Fun to drive, plenty of power, plenty of bells and whistles

I am amazed that this 4-cylinder vehicle has such power. The first time I drove it and had to pull out into heavy traffic I peeled rubber. Pretty smooth ride. All kinds of gadgets. Only downside is the shifter - a knob sticking out on the right from the steering wheel column which is difficult to see and can be mistaken sometimes. My wife has already hit out fence thinking the car was in park and it was still in drive. Changing the radio controls from left to right was a little confusing, seeing how this was not my first Hyundai.

Checks All The Boxes - Exceeds Expectations

Love everything about the vehicle. It's roomy. The advanced technology features take a minute to get used to but they are great enhancements. The look is different than the other current SUVs.

Great vehicle with annoying software

This vehicle has a lot of great features at a fairly decent price. Unfortunately they did a lousy job with a lot of the software in the car which prevents you from using a lot of the features you paid for. Too many things complain that you "aren't paying attention" and then disable important safety features like lane assist and cruise control. It constantly tells me I'm not looking forward when I'm driving perfectly. Too many touch screen buttons instead of physical buttons which are very unsafe so it doesn't make any sense.

Great car, infotainment screen a problem

Love my santa fe. Comfortable and drives well. The only problem is my infotainement screen keeps going off and on. Dealership could not find the problem.

a great vehicle very comfortable with plenty of room for passengers. Handles extremely well in snow however needs a larger gas tank, a longer strap on seatbelt base, it's not easy to clip the seatbelt in (bought a universal extender that did not fit). I thought it was us but friends also commented on the difficulty of buckling in. Also the windshield wipers sit too low. we had a scary situation, driving in heavy snowfall on highway, turned off wipers, when we tried to turn them back on they were frozen had to pull over to free them as they were frozen solid. This is due to melting on windshield flowing down where wipers sit to low preventing the heat from reaching them. In all my 50 plus years of driving in bad weather this was a first. The blades sit too low for the defrost heat to reach them.
