New look, less value

This is our third Santa Fe. The first two were wonderful. This version is poorly thought out. Some of the tech features don't work well.

Very nice ride!

Nice roomy and spacious cabin. Really like the gen5 rear boxy design (throwback) and get much more storage instead of the rounded back. Pretty good power.

Best Santa Fe I’ve owned

Verdict still coming

Good car so far. Very comfortable and peppy. Mileage could be better. Time for coffee break pop up is very annoying. The verdict is still out due to the Double Clutch Tranny. Reliability may be a problem as Hyundai put a regular 8 speed automatic in the 2026 Santa Fe's. Might mean problems exist like Ford had.

My extremely honest review

Let me first start by saying that my car was in and out of service for the first 9 months with an electrical issue. Dealership eventually fixed it. There are parts of this car that scare me. The automatic hatch opening if the key fob is in vicinity is not safe. Standing near the back of the car for any period of time triggers the hatch to open, whether or not you want it to or not. The climate controls need moved or buttons/knobs added. It's extremely difficult to operate the climate control while driving. No way to do it without taking eyes off the road for an extended period. Actually, operating any controls on the center console is difficult while driving. Air vents suck, they hit me in the chest and no way to adjust them any higher. I believe the last two were a result of trying to get a sleek look to the interior but it needs to function well too. Auto-stop-start drives me crazy - give me a way to turn that off so I don't have to disable it every time I start the car. Car needs traction control - forget trying to accelerate quickly in the rain - tires spin forever. Seats are comfy. Door/key fob sensors can be more responsive.

Love the inside and the safety features.

The only thing I wish they wouldn’t have changes is the outside look of the car. This is my third Santa Fe and I loved the older model’s style so much more.

Great vehicle all around

I had 3 Hyundai vehicles from 2002-2014 and never had any issues with any, went to multiple different brands and bought this last year. It’s been tremendous and reliable in every way.

The car shifts poorly especially starting from a cold start. Other than that a great vehicle.

Santa Fe has come a long way

Expanding to three rows enables flexibility of large numbers of passengers as in my grandkids or large cargo capability when passenger room not required. Vehicle driving features make long distance trips a lot less fatiguing. The four cylinder turbo engine provides excellent gas mileage. Exterior lights and look are cool. By the way, I love the Viking family promotional commercial for the Santa Fe!

Very disappointed

The 2024 Santa Fe was my 4th Santa Fe. I was so excited to get my hands on the new model. I drove the dealership nuts constantly asking about arrival time and ended up with the first one. My enthusiasm did not last long. I had a string of issues: door locking, radio, exhaust fans running for hours, alarm setting off, constant issues and recently a lot of transmission issues, lurching, switching gear hesitant, not going into gear. I felt very unsafe in the vehicle. Something’s were addressed others I was told could not be created while in the shop. I started feeling very unsafe in the vehicle, I lost a lot of money (and trust in Hyundai) but I got rid of the Santa Fe yesterday.

Excellent Vehicle

Drives great. Love my Bose stereo. Seats are very comfortable, Rear seats down provide excellent cargo space. All around very well-built vehicle.

2024 Sante Fe. I have had many issues.

I have had a radiator fan replaced and now the is a problem with the CDCU and this is a 2024 model. I am not too pleased with the issues I have had so far and hoping I don't have any more.
