Base model does not have ac in back seat

Thought we were getting a great car when it was bought im the winter but as soon as it started to get warm out and turned on the AC we found out the rear passenger seats had no AC vents. Kids are always hot now due to no circulation. Of all the things to cut out for being the baseline cheap model I would never have picked that. Based on that probably would not buy again

Spacious, Chic, Well Made SUV

We love our 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe. We waited to purchase new body style, and we are very happy we did. The inside is very modern and spacious. Drives very nice.

October 23, 2025 Review

After one year, we love the safety features and overall design. Both the interior and exterior designs still hold up. The rugged exterior look is what first drew us to buying our SUV. We also love the features and layout of the interior also. Another major selling point is the complementary maintenance.

Great vehicle with some flaws

The HDA is unusable. It gives constant warnings to keep your eyes on the road. You can’t check your rear view mirrors or turn your head for one second. If you look too far ahead or look down at the road it will kick you out of cruise control. The touchscreen for the HVAC controls is hard to use. If there sunlight shining in the window, you can’t see the lights that show your settings. The home link garage door openers don’t work if the vehicle is off.

Enjoying the vehicle

Vehicle rides better than I thought it would coming from a Lexus. Minor problem with the entertainment system. Brakes could be better. Mushy feeling when I have to break hard. Engine shuts at idle at traffic light. NOT a good feeling. Can it be disabled?

I feel this car should have a standard driver power seat so it can be comfortable to driver. The front cup holders are to far back on console and should a light strips on center console to dark there

A real pleasure to drive around, especially on road trips.

This is our first vehicle loaded with modern technology. We take full advantage of the GPS mapping and alerts. We also love the audio hook up with our Spotify service. The car is good looking, very comfortable to drive, and has a good road feel. I'm surprised at the power/acceleration from that little turbocharged powerplant. The cargo space is excellent for a mid-size SUV, and the multiple rear seat configurations are very useful for travel. On the down side, some of the "automatic" features can be annoying. I really don't like the fact that side-to-side lane assistance kicks in every time you initiate cruise control. I feel like I'm often fighting my natural driving tendencies for following and passing. I also find myself getting "caught" by cruise control as I get ready to pass another vehicle. As I get ready to accelerate and pass, the system will automatically slow me down, uncomfortably, which I feel is even a little dangerous, while passing. I really dislike the "coffee cup & ding" driver alertness feature. If I could, I'd shut that off permanently, but I haven't found a way to do that! We have a lot to learn about the many techy features. I feel like we've just scratched the surface. The other bothersome negative, although not a biggie, is that we're averaging 25-26 mpg on Interstate road trips. I thought we'd be closer to 30mpg. and I'm NOT a heavy-footed driver. But, Overall, we're very pleased with our purchase.
