The Brown Speedboat

I love my 2024 Santa Fe. It has enough power to pull into traffic. Very roomy inside, I have already gone on 4 road trips and got everything packed in with room to spare. I can fit at least 5 of my 11 grandchildren in there comfortably because of the 3rd seats. If I can keep it going this is my last car for retirement

Santa Fe calligraphy-1st year review

Great travel car, smooth ride, easy to drive on highway with Highway Driving Assist 2. Initially had wind noise around driver side door but service department was able to adjust the door and resolved that issue. We’ve had a rear camera replaced that failed and Apple CarPlay module replaced all under warranty.

Great SUV

I am enjoying my vehicle. I enjoy the colored inside lights I can choose for my day, week, mood, or holiday. I enjoy the heated and cooled seats and heated steering wheel. It came in handy when temperatures dropped or when it was hot outside it cooled me off. Don't use the moon roof or the extended moon roof in the back I did try it this past week and I forgot to close it in the back but the window doesn't open. I am not a big fan of the auto shut off to save fuel or efficiency is little annoyance. I bought a gas vehicle because I tried an electric vehicle but I live 40 min from my work and test driving a E-vehicle rental was not a great idea for me. I live in Texas and when we have the snowstorm during covid and had no power an electric vehicle would not be good. I have had to replace both batteries thank goodness they were under warranty still.

Just not for us.

We have had the calligraphy edition for over a year and this car is just not for us. We needed a 3rd row so we love the room this vehicle has but that’s about it. My wife doesn’t like the way the car drives and it constantly beeps and pulls for her. I drive it mostly but there are some aggravating aspects that just don’t make the car fun to drive.

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited 2.5T AWD Review

Overall I love the style and design of this SUV. I also really like the features and how the car drives. But I am really disappointed in the reliability, specifically with an electrical issue. A fuse that controls many of the safety features has repeatedly failed and I've had the car back to dealer 5 times for this problem. The last time it was there for a month (while we were on vacation) and they still have not been able to figure out what is causing the issue. I now have another appointment tomorrow to take the car in again for another recall (the 4th or 5th?) and to have them repair the display screen which is periodically flickering and going dark. I've also had to have all 4 brake rotors machined at less than 10,000 miles due to warping. All of these issues have been taken care of under warranty but it makes we worry what might happen once the warranty expires. We've owned Hyundais before but this may be our last one.

New Santa Fe throtal delay is dangerous

i have a 2024 Santafe Calligraphy and the thrtal delay when i smash the gas to get into heavy traffice has a 2-3second delay before the car takes off this is all the time and even more pronouced when entering traffic while on an incline entrance. very dangerous! dealership replaced transmission 2 times assuming that was the issue nothing was corrected. brought itn a 3rd time and told them its still doing the same thing. tech road with me aggreed its an issue but no corrective action taken because the transmssion was replaced 2 times before and nothing changed and no codes being thrown! its a throtal responce issued in my eye. Hyundai needs to correct before somone is killed due to a Tbone hit when enering traffic

Almost Perfect

The AC controls are at a 45° angle so sometimes hard to see with reflecting sunlight. I prefer knobs to touchscreen buttons while driving. It is quite comfortable. I drive in Sport mode because regular doesn't really have the throttle response I desire. The turbo has a little snarl tho.

Great car with a horrible feature.

The car rides and drives great! The main issue I have with it is the IR sensor on the top of the steering column. I wish I knew about this "feature" prior to committing to a lease. If you like to use the cruise control on the car, you can't wear sunglasses. It literally will slam on the brakes if it can't see your face. I really hate this "feature" and want to get out of my lease, as I cannot use the cruise on the highway for more than 30 seconds, it is the most ridiculous thing I have ever encountered on a car and I wish I would have leased something else. I go on trips and I cannot use the cruise, I am 50 years old and this is the only car I've ever had that I cannot use the cruise on the highway. I absolutely despise this car because of this fact and it is by far the most annoying vehicle I have EVER had.

Love my Santa Fe

I was attracted to all the bells and whistles for the price. Very comfortable car to drive. Very versatile. Great safety features. As a dog lover I like the taillights look like dog bones! Ha!

My troubled

Overall I like the car. I do have a couple of real ongoing issues with it that do not seem to be fix-able. The heat that comes out of the dash boar vents is a problem that only stops when the thru-cabin vent button is pushed. The biggest problem is the occasional shifting from D (drive) to 1 (first gear). I had it back to the dealer a couple of times but they want to see it happen before fixing it. I wonder if other owners are having this trouble?

I get the message “ you need to take a break” 12 times in a 90 mile trip. Geive me an option to turn off that facial recognition camera !

Great car!

The Santa Fe continues to be a great car. This is my 3rd over the past 12 years. Unfortunately, it’s not up to the same standard as my precious 2. The ride is not quite as good and the transmission is really sloppy. On my 3rd recall. That being said, for what you are getting for the price is great.

SANTE FE MY DREAM CAR

IN ALL THE YEARS I'VE HAD HYUNDAI'S THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I EVER HAD PROBLEMS, AND IT WAS A BAD BATTERY, FIXED IT NO CHARGE AND I'M ON MY WAY! HAPPY TO HAVE A SIMPLE PROBLEM FIXED, SO FAST!
